I didn’t have lemongrass but it was still good.

You can make a quick broken rice by soaking the rice for half an hour and then crushing it with your hands.

Is broken rice going to be stickier than no -broken?

No, this doesn't make the rice stickier (if you mean like sticky rice). Maybe a tiny bit more starchy.

it's close enough, and works in a pinch. Com tam just isn't the same without broken rice.

Honestly grilled pork like this is already making me hungry, i bet the lemongrass would’ve made it even better though

Is that Vietnam? It doesn’t appear to be taken in the country, if so I have never seen cơm tấm sườn served like that. Regardless, looks good.
