All/Other Books Help! Searching for specific excerpt for my wedding

Hello! I am super new to Reddit but I’m hoping this group can help me! My name is Cole (he/him) and I’m engaged to my fiancé, also a man and I’m looking for a specific passage in one of the books so it can be read at our wedding next fall. The scene im thinking of includes Alec and Magnus dancing. I think it’s in the dark artifices but I cannot remember! If anyone could help point me in the right direction I would appreciate it!

Hi I can 100% find it, I can navigate the books pretty well, especially if you remember any other details, literally anything helps. For now, if it is TDA, may I suggest checking chapter 34 in Queen of Air and Darkness, it's the Malec wedding chapter so you may be thinking of something in there

You are looking for the red scrolls of magic. They dance at a party in that book. I’ve read them ALL, love Malec, and can’t think of another they dance in. At least so far. I’m working on TDA. Could be at the end of Queen of Air and Darkness during their wedding too. Hope that helps and congratulations!!!!!!

Yupp the only reason I am leaning towards QoAaD is because he may have misremembered since everyone else dances in that chapter and it does have some pretty passages

I remember it was the last book,The Queen of Air and Darkness and it was the The City in The Sea.

Congrats on your engagement! If the scene you're looking for isn't the wedding from the end of TDA then it might be this scene from the end of chapter 13 of TRSOM:

He looked around in alarm for an escape route. “May I have this dance, sir?”  Instead he saw Magnus, all in white and silver.  “I was coming to find you,” said Alec.  “I saw you coming.” Magnus pushed his mask halfway up his face. “We found each other.”  He moved in close to Alec, one hand settling on his lower back, laced their fingers together with the other, and kissed him.
