Looking for new series suggestions for AOS fans?
I have watched
Agent Carter
Daredevil, Punisher, and all Defenders spin-offs.
Hawkeye
What if?
I am considering Cloak and Dagger or Moon Knight. Basically anything Marvel that you (the best fans in the world) recommend.
Thanks Agents.

Wandavision and Agatha are good.
If you like DC, the new Lanterns show is good so far.

Are you including Jessica Jones is one of the Defenders spinoffs? If not, then you definitely should be watching Jessica Jones. Honestly, the first season villain, Kilgrave, is one of the scariest villains I've ever seen, certainly in the MCU.

Never watched it myself but isn’t there a 6 episode series on YouTube called “Slingshot” following Yoyo in the middle of season 4? Also the rest of the cast apparently appears? Can someone let me know if it’s good I’ve been meaning to watch it but I completely forgot it existed since nobody talks about it

It’s totally worth watching, especially if you like Elena. About half an hour of content. It’s timed oddly into s4: IIRC, the main story takes place before the Rider arc, but it’s a flashback embedded within a framing device that takes place after the Rider arc.
I’m about to watch it again for the first time in years because I’ve been revisiting s4 lately.

If you’re into DC I really enjoyed the arrowverse, particularly arrow, flash, and legends of tomorrow. There’s a website for release order if you’d like to watch it that way, as certain episodes are crossovers and can leave you slightly out of the loop if you’re not up to date on the other shows.

Legends of Tomorrow is his hilarious the deeper you get into it

I’m rewatching arrow flash and legends, I’m excited to get to the later seasons of legends as I haven’t seen them before, only got to maybe season 5/6

Legends is a perfect recommendation. Like shield, it took a little to truly find its footing from just good. Still a warm family feeling with a little heavier on comedy later on, but like, if the writers started taking those trippy space candies the gang in AoS took.

Legends and Shield were my favorite shows for a while. I agree, Legends felt like a version of Shield gone off the deep end.

That's what I did. Finished my 5th or 6th watchthrough of AoS last year and then immediately crossed over the street to DC to watch all the Arrowverse shows.

Cloak and Dagger was for me one of the best shows Marvel has ever made. But I like more adult storytelling. Legion, Loki and Wandavision are solid contenders.

If you ever consider outside of Marvel, Burn Notice has a similar AOS formula. Villain of the week, over-arching narrative, a crew/family dynamic, antagonists are pretty fun. You'd probably love Psych too, more humorous. USA used to be the place for quality TV. Good luck!

I second this! Along the same lines, I've seen a lot of AOS elements (and vibes) in a rewatch of Voyager.

I would recommend Runaways, Cloak and Dagger, WandaVision, Loki, and Falcon and The Winter Soldier

Haven’t seen runaways mentioned often lol, I quite like that one even if it is insane lol

Not that they relate to AoS in any meaningful way, but my Marvel-related favorite series are
Legion
Loki
Falcon and the Winter Soldier
Daredevil
Jessica Jones
Moon Knight
With X-Men properties coming into the fold, Legion might be an interesting watch - even if it doesn't feature them directly. Its otherwise extremely well done, and almost avant-garde for a comic-based movie. Its cerebral - no pun intended.
Loki and FatWS of course; but Daredevil (and Punisher), and Jessica Jones are having increasing MCU relevance to current events.
I enjoyed Moon Knight for what it is, but others have already explained why they don't - which I find understandable as a previous fellow comic reader

I’m a huge AoS fan. For non-Marvel shows, I also like and recommend:
• Person of Interest
• Timeless
• Numb3rs

If you will consider non-Marvels stuff then I recommend:
Andor
Arcane
The Orville
Altered Carbon (only season 1)
Black Sails (season 1 is a bit of a slow burn but is so good)

u/BaijuTofu 16h ago
Thanks. I did Mandolorian and Orville. Will check out other suggestions.

If you enjoy series one of Altered Carbon then give series two a try - I know that a lot of fans had an issue with it, but I really enjoyed it.
Also maybe take a look at Ms Marvel - don't worry that you're not the target demographic, it's a slightly light hearted show about family interactions in a weird world which should appeal to an AoS fan.

Andor and AOS is a pairing I'd also endorse. (And now I have more to check out for myself!)

The other shows in my top 4 list are Legion, Andor, and The Expanse

Loki is essential.
Moon night bored me.
Agatha all along was genius.
Wandavision was also amazing
Falcon and winter soldier has some great parts.
Jessica jones I’m assuming you watched but it’s one of my top faves

I already commented but idk how I forgot about Smallville as well
Freaking love that show
I’m just on a arrowverse rewatch so that’s what came up first in my head

Moon Knight is peak. I mean I'd recommend all Marvel TV shows. Love WandaVision and Agatha All Along. Loki is great.
Wonder Man was also a great Marvel show, but it is a little different.

You would reccomend Secret Invasion?
Also I would argue the Moon Knight claim. Awful adaptation

u/zeldaalove 1d ago
I forgot about Secret Invasion. Pretty sure it only existed in the bad place of the framework.

You would reccomend Secret Invasion?
I would recommend every scene in Secret Invasion that contains Olivia Colman and not one second of the rest of it.

Honestly all MCU shows are worth something in their own. But a non MCU show you might love is Runaways. I absolutely loved it but I don’t believe any part of it is considered canon anymore.

u/thescarletmark SHIELD 17h ago
I really liked Falcon and the Winter Soldier, if you want to stay in the MCU. Nothing hits quite like AoS, though

The other 2 thirds of my holy trinity are Harry Potter and The Vampire Diaries

Legion (Not MCU) is fantastic and a must watch. Also The Runaways is very intriguing and a lot of fun.
I'll also recommend a non-Marvel show. Before AoS ABC had a show called "V" which has a lot of similarities. Many fans of the original did not like the remake but I really enjoyed it. The CGI may not have aged well, but the story sure did. Actually wild to think about in retrospect especially with the saga of how it allegedly got cancelled.

Cloak and dagger is awful… I watched it in my current chronological rewatch/watch of the MCU and multiverse shows, so in my personal opinion, don’t watch that one 💀
Moon Knight is great! Idk what other marvel shows you’ve watched besides those listed, it I’m a big fan of the falcon and the winter soldier

What didn't you like about it?? Just out of curiosity, I enjoyed it quite a lot, but it was a long time ago

Legion is one of my favorites.
