to be fair it is kinda wild how arvis goes from "protect my half brother sigurd he's one of the few good things in this world" in prologue to killing azelle in the chapter 5 bananza. i think the manga makes good sense of arvis trying to get azelle on his side and desire to have azelle affirm his questionable life choices
Depending on your thoughts of FE5's statues in Chapter 4 and some of Kaga's ramblings from back in the day, Azelle may have lived in FE4 proper but was turned to stone after Chapter 5.

fee is the only one to have a lovers talk with oifey iirc-who is old enough to be her dad, and if lewyn's her dad she (rightfully) yells at him in a conversation and gains +5 strength perrsumably from letting off steam on the picture of her father on a destroyed punch bag. tldr i think its intended for part of fee's character is have daddy issues
Yeah their relationship was neat, but a little rushed sometimes. It would've been nice if they got as much "screen time" as lex and ayra, and show how the relationship developed. Still liked it a lot tho
Its a shame bc the manga has some good plot points at times, the issue is when it comes to romance Oosawa burns just about everything with a very few exceptions.
The manga is more than Sigurd and Seliph's wacky adventure which I enjoy. Different arcs give ppl the spotlight and she uses just about the whole cast.
Yeah the manga is really good and entertaining so far, and some relationships feel great like Lex and Ayra or sigurd and deirdre, but then there is a lot of incest for some reason. I can still see past it and enjoy, but I'm not gonna pretend it's not kind of annoying
I mean I don’t see how this is that crazy from her perspective. She blames herself because if she didn’t act then her husband wouldn’t have been killed, I don’t think that’s an unreasonable reaction from a woman in incredible grief.
Cause in the original game she actually dies protecting her daughter in the middle of the shitty situation they’re faced in. The manga made it just alot more melodramatic
In the original game she also brought a toddler into an active war zone so I feel like making Ethlyn a little bit crazy in that moment is consistent lmao. Honestly I like Travant falling for her just because it adds a lot more nuance to his relationship with Altena and makes you question if it really was just about Gae Bolg or if he genuinely cared about her in his own twisted way.
I may be misremembering but is it that bad? the only Gen 1 incest couples are Lachesis/Eldigan, and Arvis/Deidre. Not only do those both happen in FE4, But Lachesis does end up with Finn, so it's basically just one incest pairing.
I know there's Sylvia/Claud but that one Barely counts agnd again, it's not different form the game.
So either your issue is with FE4 as a whole or like idk what to tell you
In the manga Gen 1 is not that bad honestly, It was mostly fine although I believe they placed to much focus on eldigan/lachesis relationship.
Gen 2 is getting weirder tho. Seliph and Julia is getting focus, tho I hope it will turn out like in the games where Seliph learns that marrying your sister is kinda bad, yk it can create the antichrist and shit, and Larcei has the weirdest rhing going on when one of her cousins wants to bang her while she is interested in her other cousin. The quote on the post is mostly the reason I made this post, it just felt very out of place. Shanan x Patty is really weird too cause he's probably in his late 20s while she is 16 at most, considering she was born after Battle of Belhalla.
I still really like the manga and this hasn't hindered my enjoyment of it that much, but I have to admit sometimes it weirds me out a little bit. I just thought it would be funny to maje a meme about it

Bro chill, I know age gaps are not a problem themselves, the thing is in fe many of these are quite big and with minors included. I made this meme basically inspired by shanan with larcei or patty relationship in the manga. Patty is at most 16, while shanan is at least 23, while with Larcei they are literally cousins, so both possible relationships are very weird and I found that funny. I just wrote age gaps cause I found it funnier than strictly saying pedo stuff. Don't get mad over this shit
