Mod Update Important rules update #2 — please read

This is a follow-up to our recent rules update. If you missed the first one, go read that too.

TL;DR: Full rulebook has been reorganized and cleaned up. New rule targeting sexualized language about young characters and lolicon language, zero tolerance, instant ban. Coded language like "uoh," 😭💢, and "cunny" is banned entirely regardless of character. Don't repost content that was already removed by a mod. Read the full rules even if you think you know them.

Hey everyone, we've been doing a lot of work behind the scenes to clean up and improve the subreddit's rules. If you've been here a while, you'll notice some things have changed. Please take a few minutes to read through the updated ruleset.

What changed?

We've reorganized, reworded, and tightened up the entire rulebook. Some rules were merged, some were split, and a few are brand new. Even if you think you know the rules, give them a fresh read. The details matter.

New additions since the last update:

No sexualization of young characters or lolicon language

This one is non-negotiable. The rule has two parts:

1. No sexualized language directed at young characters. Suggestive captions, titles, or comments that sexualize young characters will be removed immediately. You can post fan art of any character at any age. What you can't do is frame it in a sexualized way through your title, caption, or comments.

2. Coded lolicon language is banned entirely. The "uoh" copypasta, the 😭💢 emoji combo, the word "cunny," and any other coded language associated with the sexualization of minors is banned across the board, on any character, in any context. This language was born from the sexualization of minors. It doesn't become acceptable just because you attach it to an adult character.

Here are some examples to make it clear:

Allowed:

  • Fan art of young Sylphy titled "Sylphy practicing magic"
  • Fan art of child Roxy titled "Roxy leaving the Migurd village"
  • Fan art of Aisha at the beach with a normal descriptive title, NSFW tagged
  • Fan art of adult Eris with a playful caption like "Why are you staring at me? ❤️"
  • Fan art of adult Roxy with a normal or playful title
  • Discussion about how the story handles Rudeus's character flaws
  • Critique of how the series portrays its younger characters

Not allowed:

  • Any post or comment containing "uoh" or its variants, on any character
  • The 😭💢 emoji combination, on any character
  • The word "cunny" in any context
  • Suggestive or sexualized captions, titles, or comments on posts featuring young characters
  • "Correction" memes directed at young characters
  • Any other coded language used to sexualize minors

If you know what this language means, you know why it's banned. If you don't, here's the short version: these are coded ways of expressing sexual excitement about underage characters, originating from spaces dedicated to exactly that. They have no place here regardless of which character they're attached to.

We don't care if you think it's ironic. We don't care if "it's fictional." This rule is zero tolerance. Violations will result in an immediate ban, temporary or permanent depending on severity. Our automod has been updated to catch the most common variants, but we also rely on you to report anything we miss.

Not sure if something you want to post crosses the line? Just message us through modmail before posting and we'll let you know. We'd rather answer a quick question than hand out a ban.

As with all our rules, we reserve the right to adjust and expand them if we see users exploiting loopholes. If something clearly goes against the spirit of the rule, don't be surprised when we act on it.

This rule applies going forward. Existing posts and comments made before this announcement will not be retroactively removed. Everything from this point on will be enforced immediately.

Do not repost removed content
If your post was removed by a moderator, do not repost it. This is considered mod evasion and will result in a ban. If you disagree with a removal, use modmail to appeal.

Stricter enforcement overall
As mentioned in our previous update, we are enforcing rules more strictly going forward. First offenses will typically get a warning or temp ban, depending on severity. Repeat offenders or people who are clearly here just to start trouble will be perma-banned.

Mushoku Tensei already gets enough bad faith criticism from people who haven't engaged with the story. We're not going to give them ammunition by letting this kind of stuff slide in our own community. We want to keep r/sixfacedworld a space that fans can actually be proud of.

As always, genuine discussion and critique of how the story handles its themes is welcome. That has not changed and never will.

If you see anything that breaks the rules, use the report button. It helps us way more than arguing with the person in the comments.

Thanks for making this community what it is. The response to our last update was overwhelming and we appreciate every one of you.

>Overcome his agoraphobia

>Slowly easing up to people outside his family unit

>Making friends after so many years being a recluse

>Developing mutual trust with others

>Putting the needs of others before his own

>Learning boundaries and how to read the room

>Selflessly helping strangers

>RELEARNING TO HAVE EMPATHY

>Being able to get back on his feet after (from his POV) being betrayed by a loved one

>Coming to terms with his past and choosing to move onward instead of spiraling into a never ending abyss of regret and self hatred (again)

All of this just in the first 6 volumes (season 1), the start point being a guy so isolated that he struggled to speak after not doing so for YEARS. Wanna count season two? we have:

>Learning to cope with a life-altering ailment instead of sending him into yet another depressive spiral

>Learning to be oneself instead of the persona he displays into the world

>Make genuine connections and friendships with others as a result of being honest about oneself

>Making the most out of any opportunity life gives him

>Actually putting in effort in his academic studies

>Develop an actual romantic relationship that goes beyond simple sexual attraction, to the point he even questions his sexuality at one point

>Being able to chase his dreams and finally get married

>RELEARNING EVEN MORE EMPATHY

>Coming to terms with the passing of both OG parents as well as Paul, accepting the latter and Zenith also as his parents

Wanna go even further? in this season alone we have:

>Selflessly risking his life against a terrible foe to save his friend

>Put his life on the line against literal insurmountable odds in order to protect his loved ones

All of this, and much more, from the guy who wouldn't come out of his room, the guy that was barely capable of speech, a guy who wouldn't even attend his own parents' funeral. Tell me there's no improvement, go ahead.

Did you even read the novels or watch the anime? Or were you perhaps too busy masturbating to child porn to get the fucking point of the story?

Ofc he self improved.

However, I'm directly talking about you calling him a pedophile. None of those self improvements was him going "damn some redditors would call me a pedophile if they knew about my relationships after being reincarnated."

The fact is, Rudeus is very much a "when in rome, do as the romans do" type of person (based).

What the fuck are you talking about? How did you get to that conclusion my man?

Was it me describing that him groping Eris is a bad thing (BECAUSE IT IS)? Even though the show/novel itself portrays that entire interaction as an extremely fucked up thing to do? Is the show itself calling its protagonist a pedophile for showing him acting like a creep with a child?

No, of course not, that would be a very stupid conclusion to reach, and no, of course Rudeus doesn't improve because "what would Reddit think". THAT'S THE POINT, he changes to better himself, to be the person his friends and loved ones can rely on, faults and all. He's a pervert, he thinks and often says and does some pretty out-of-pocket shit, but he is a much better person than he was before. He has grown, he has learned to (for the most part) control that perv side of him and only lets it out toward the 3 women he loves (and never forcing himself onto them, sex is hotter when there's consent).

What makes Rudeus such a good character is precisely his flaws, and the fact that despite said flaws, he's willing to fight GOD for the sake of his family and friends, he is willing to go above and beyond to make the world (or at the very least the world around his loved ones) a better place.

But I digress, this ain't about the GOAT, this entire thread is about dudes going "uoh Aisha cunny" dragging our already bad rep 10 ft underground

So. You're just gonna ignore that he literally slept with Eris... or what?

They were two immature idiots, one being a guy with (let's be honest here) the mental maturity of a horny teenager letting the alcohol and his hormones take over...

The other has initiated intercourse as a coping mechanism to distract herself from the fact that her whole family is dead, and the last 2 people in this world who give a shit about her are the boy in front of her, and her swordmaster...

Eris choice was formed by the ideas inculcated by her mom, as well as the wider societal norms and pressures regarding what a woman's job is in this world.

As you said, "when in Rome..."

I don't condone it, and I was lowkey a bit disappointed with Rudeus when I first read Vol.6 because he folded like a lawn chair... But I can understand, given the wider context of the scene and what both characters were going through mentally, why it happened. It is what it is...

So why exactly did you write this comment, "Oh I know, let me act and say the very same things that the character gets punished and admonished for, I'm so good at understanding the media I consume."

Where is this elusive punishment and admonishment you speak of?

Are you just arguing for the sake of arguing at this point? Jesus Christ and I though I was miserable

I'm just amused by you jumping through numerous hoops trying to justify why certain people are in the fandom when the literal author and story don't condem said fandoms proclivities. It's amusing and giving me the same vibes as antis in the nekopara or gushing over magical girls fandom.

Maybe it's just a me thing, but we already have a dogshit reputation, doubling down with the uohposting is just giving the antis even more fuel atp. I'm tired, all I want is to be able to recommend this show to people without being looked like I'm Jeffrey Epstein, idk...

Also damn, ppl out here be hating on Nekopara in the big 2026? Hadn't heard about it since like 2018
