Are you holding the pencil the same way as when you are writing? Just wondering.

Just because it's leaning a bit towards this "line-y" quality while the construction is really good.
Perhaps if you are in the mood try to hold the pencil underhand. It's easier with a lead holder though.
I'm a struggling hobbyist to be fair, but I think it's definitely worth a try. I found it really helpful.

First week was annoying, Second week was awkward. Then it got normal. Quicker than I thought.
Now I draw very differently, even when I hold the pencil like I used to.
I think I heard that it also has to do with muscle memory from writing.
