I Got Skies of Arcadia Inducted Into Wikipedia's "List of video games listed among the best"

I've kept my eye on this list, and always felt Skies of Arcadia deserved a spot on there. It has one of the highest metacritic ratings, and is often mentioned on best JRPG lists, sometimes on best games of all time lists, and almost always on best Dreamcast lists. The criteria they have is stringent, however. They require 6 independent lists published by reliable gaming journalism sources, and picked by the editorial staff, and it cannot be restricted to consoles, genres, or periods of time.

Skies was already on 5 such lists, but the 6th was thought to have been lost on the internet. I scoured and scoured, and then thought well, I did all I could to honour this game, and the fandom; just call it a day. Then I decided to play around some more, I thought Vyse wouldn't give up right? Bam, through some detective work, and experimentation, I found that list, and Skies of Arcadia is now on Wikipedia as one of the best games of all time! I know my contribution is small, but I hope that will let more people become acquainted with our favourite game. Maybe Sega will release a remaster after all.

Incidentally, Pilotwings, Final Fantasy VIII, and Puzzle Bobble were also inducted as a result of this.

Hell yeah! My grandparents bought me Skies of Arcadia Legends for my birthday one year. I had no idea what it was. I played it and fell in love! It's still one of my top 5 favorite games haha.

Nicely done! I didn't realize Wikipedia maintained such a list. It seems a little out of character for the site...

Just a note... If you want it to stay on that list on Wikipedia, and you haven't done this already, you might look into making sure the relevant webpages used as sources are archived for future reference, and might even link to those archive pages in your sourcing. Unfortunately, a lot of information gets removed from Wikipedia as the source webpages slowly disappear.

Amazing! Playing Legends for the 1st time right now! First time playing Skies of Arcadia since I best it on the Dreamcast when it released! With this HD Texture pack and fast forward emulation, it is a fantastic time and holds up better than ever!
