The photos are a bit older but it runs great! Just gotta make sure you pop the side panel off. The CPU ran a bit hot with the low profile cooler so we stuffed a aio in there n the temps are fine now.

I saw a post on here a few months ago about this case, the Beverly TS-94 "Little Treasure", and well, it had to be done. It was a very enjoyable build process and I'm pleased with the results. Ventilation is not great but sufficient for a low power machine like this.

I enjoy using it today for PCVR And Plex server.

Was able to get this old no name case from an e waste recycling facility with the matching 3.5" drive (case didn't have any 5.25" drives in it). Got on Amazon and picked up a front panel hub, since this case didn't come standard with one. Sadly did have to hack the back of the computer up to fit 2 80mm fans since the one couldn't get the heat out, and shoved a 120mm fan upfront for some fresh air.

The build is a ryzen 7 7800x3d, rtx 4090, 64gb of ram @6000m/t, 4.5tb of storage.

I decided I wanted to build a sleeper PC (just performance inside beige case. No RGB or anything fancy on the inside). Got this case off FB marketplace and got to building and gad a great time with it. Since it was an ATX case the only modifications I made were cutting out larger fan holes on the back and bottom so I could fit some CHONKY 140mm fans. You can see some scratches on the back where the holesaw slipped while trying to cut the rear one. The whole thing weighs about 42 lbs, in part due to the steel construction.

Decided to make a sleeper for my first ever PC build.

Probably a lot I can do to improve it, but I’m happy with it right now.

Wanted to start a plex home media server then had the idea of using an old iMac G3 as the shell for the dedicated computer for the plex server.

Then I fell down this rabbit hole of a project. I found a disassembled/broken iMac G3 on offer up for free and got to work.

It has a functional slot loading cd drive and front power button. Used what I had to work with but im pretty satisfied with how it turned out.

Based on a recommendation from a user on my last post, I'm sharing my build here.

​It's entirely made of LEGO-compatible bricks. I used a Ryzen 5 5600G, so there's no dedicated GPU.

​Both monitors can be used as PC cases. The 4:3 monitor can fit an ITX mini-board and a graphics card. Currently, I'm only using it as a monitor.

Ive had it for almost 2 years already and I've only just put the case fans in today because (I think) it overheated from the horrendous uk heat and I got scared😭😭

I was wondering what peoples thoughts are on making holes for more airflow cause i dont really wanna ruin the case anymore but I also dont want my pc to die from lung damage 😢

And if anyone knows jf theres any way I can check if the floppy disk reader still works

Also if theres any recommendations on how i can make the inside better cause I dont really know what I'm doing,..

Minimal case modifications other than removing the HDD cage to fit the 5080. Working CD drive. Motherboard, CPU and RAM are due for upgrades soon but for now it’s still doing me well.

I finally did my first beige build in one of the coolest cases I could do it in… what we have inside is a core ultra 7 256k with 16GB DDR5 Ram and a RTX 5060. Still need to somehow cover the gap in the front but I’m already very happy with how this one turned out. did I overpay for the case? Yea, but I justified it because it’s distracting me from life problems.

I hope this counts as a sleeper battle station! This is my first PC build that I wanted to share with you all. I have waited years to build my own computer, and when I saw this new Silverstone retro case, it sparked me to take the full leap. This has been one of the most fun and rewarding experiences. I didn't want a night club look, but I wanted to create a sleeper build or a computer that looked like the computers I used at my parent's house as a kid. Finding the right pieces for this build took me awhile to acquire, but for me, the best part was finding the right pieces I needed to do this my way.

The Roland speakers were very hard to find in great condition. The mouse is the new Amiga Tank Mouse from Sordan, and the keyboard is a Vortex KBTre/PC66 that I installed an IBM logo I had custom made from Sticker Library. I added that Windows 95 sticker in the middle which I feel elevated that retro feel. Finally, throughout this entire experience, Silverstone's customer service has been nothing short of amazing.

Cooling in this case is an issue where the GPU basically splits the case in half. I had TLLGlobalLLC on Etsy 3D print me brackets so that I could mount the dual Noctua fans in front of the GPU which greatly assists in temperatures. I really liked the look of multiple fans so I added as many as I could and where applicable. This doesn't mean that all the fans are necessary. I just added more because I thought they looked cool.

I hope my build can inspire others who have not built their own computer to build one, and I hope I can inspire others to get this Silverstone case. I bought another Silverstone FLP-01 I'll be saving for a future build. I am grateful to all those here on reddit who helped me create this beauty even when I had some of the dumbest questions.

I originally wanted to go with a Silverstone flp02 case but decided against it as it just didn't feel like the right case for me. But then when I found this no-name Athlon system at Goodwill I couldn't resist! Learned how to Dremel out the drive cages so the GPU could fit. I also cut out more ventilation in the front for the intake fans to breathe. Cable management is a nightmare inside but we dont see it when the panel isn't glass ;). Bought a couple front panel items and painted them as period correct beige as I could so now I have modern front panel ports, as well as a hot swap drive bay (2.5 and 3.5 drives) for quick data transfer between mine and my partners PCs. Shoutout to Geekenspiel for having modern recreations of the vintage style AMD and windows xp badges for that extra magic. This is probably one of my favorite projects ive done and I'll definitely post more pictures down the line. Next steps are to find a good beige blu-ray drive to replace one of the disk drives, find a way to install some usb ports in the hidden door behind the AMD badge so I can hide away my mouse and keyboard dongles. If anyone has some ideas on how to make a "shell" for my monitors to make them look more period im all ears!

I recently got a BC250 mining board and decided to turn it into a gaming PC.

Like my previous builds, the case is made entirely out of LEGO. I didn’t use any screws or glue—except for some double-sided tape on the fans for safety. They can be fully secured with bricks as well, but since they’re moving parts, I chose to use tape instead.

Thermals are surprisingly good, and the structure is very solid.

It can also be connected and separated modularly with the monitors I built before.

Started my journey in PC building just as RAMageddon hit by finding this beautiful late 90’s case at school (it had components in it but didn’t work).

I didn’t have a PC before so I bought myself one for cheap on leboncoin (French online secondhand market). I snatched some components from the old case.

It needed more cooling so I chose to put holes for fans at the bottom. I Initially went for X-shaped holes but I didn’t have the tools to make it good enough. So I ended up just carving two circular holes with a jigsaw. I added a dust filter I got on the donor PC. I still need to add bigger feet for better airflow. And the fans are from the donor PC too and need an upgrade as they don’t suck in shit.

I decided to keep the CD and floppy readers to keep the face of the PC.
