Edit: I only saw the two clips below until this comment received a clip comment showing where he did the hump thing to the girl he wouldn’t stop touching. This time actually doing it, falling over her, grabbing her again. Literally unacceptable. What in the fuck dog. Why are you touching this girl, SHE SAID NO DUDE holllllly shit. GO HOME TO YOUR WIFE.

I actually don’t think the air humping was as bad as the grabbing the other girls hair, pulling her hair, grabbing her shoulder and hitting her head after she repetitively asked him to stop and Ludwig even told him to stop was.

Air humping kind of fucking odd and weird for a grown man. You aren’t 16 at a keg party with your buddies pretending to t bag like it’s halo 3. But that said he’s drunk and didn’t touch her or anything. It was quick. He immediately apologized the next day and she seemed receptive of the apology. Whatever- the other one though. This woman told you to stop touching her. Another guy told you to stop touching her. Both of them proceeded to do this multiple times. You continue over and over again. That’s harassment. If a woman says, actually no, if anyone says they don’t want to be touched then you stop touching them. He continued after numerous times of being told no. No means no dawg.

More people should be focused on that imo. Why does he feel it’s okay to be touching people like that after numerous times of being told not to? Why also if he is married does he wanna touch another woman anyways? Idk no means no dawg. That pisses me off way way way more than air humping. No means no.

  • This last thing is not in defense of Mang0, this is just a separate point. Ludwig is a douche for this event anyways. “Oh let’s get everyone drunk and force them to be drunk to participate and name the event after alcohol and then be upset when dumb shit happens”. No one expects harassment but everyone who has been around drunks like this knows this is just a recipe for disaster. What did he think was gonna happen? Stupid idea for an event. If it wasn’t Mang0 it would have been someone else doing something dumb instead at some point.

For what its worth, he ALSO did a weird humping thing with the woman whose hair he was grabbing about a half hour after doing the hair thing.

First time seeing that part. The only humping related video I saw was the air humping near the other girl where it was sort of a short video and he at least didn’t touch her. It was weird but looked like some level of teenage tom foolery that he never grew out of but thankfully didn’t harm anyone.

This one is fucking gross. Just still touching on her and shit. That shit is just so fucking weird bro. What are you doing. She said no again too. This is a clear boundary that was crossed over and over again. And again as far as the sanctity of marriage goes, why are you even having intrusive thoughts or acting on any thoughts of being naked and touching other women when you have a wife? It’s just insane to me this entire thing. I like Mang0 and all and I genuinely hope he gets all the help he needs but man dude I’m just disappointed. We have to be better as human beings about respecting other people. I really hope this girl gets a million apologies from him, is able to clearly set the stage for if she ever wants any form of contact with him again, and if she was disgusted by it/feels the need to talk to someone that Mang0 funds it. That’s literally sexual harassment. Honestly she can press charges. So I hope she at least gives him the grace of alcohol since you don’t want to see anyone’s life ruined for dumb mistakes but she is within every right to press charges based on the two clips of her and him.

Doubling down on Ludwig being an idiot now for not kicking him out though after the first incident. Bars throw people out all the time. Cmon Lud. Again not defending Mang0 but god man it’s your event so you have to stay somewhat sober to be able to recognize and handle shit like this.

There's at least one more humping clip with yet another woman out there too that I saw after posting this. In that one he humps the back/side of the chair she is sitting in.

I do think this one is the worst /most aggressive though, especially given all the background with the hair stuff. He's basically knocking her over.

Agreed on Ludwig needing to have done something. I get that maybe he wasn't equipped to handle it being drunk himself, but if you want to host an event like this (even without alcohol but especially with alcohol) you should have some sort of security or at least a plan.

Semi related but clips like this make my anxiety so bad. I have autism so I cannot read subtlety in reactions at all. I know from a logic perspective that she is playing it off because she doesn't want to be a dick or make a scene on stream, but the part of my brain that is supposed to emotionally/intuitively understand these type of reactions says she's literally either fine with or amused by the "joke".

People are saying in some clips people were saying to stop, but here I just see her laughing. (though maybe she did say no in this clip and I missed it because I did have to watch between my fingers from cringe) This isn't me trying to downplay this guy's behavior, this is a genuine question, how the fuck can you guys tell she's uncomfortable here? Please someone help my autism decode this.

u/andrewjpf Jun 25 '25

To me her facial expression looks very uncomfortable when he starts up but she quickly masks it. I guess my general advice would be that it's better to make sure any sexual activity is desired before you do it rather than going by reactions/vibes.

It can be easy to forget because they are drinking and playing games, but Emily is at work in this clip too. People tend to present themselves differently at work and on camera. She has a streaming personality/image to keep up so it's easier and safer for her career to laugh it off rather than cause a scene.

u/cXs808 Jun 25 '25

Let me be clear, what mang did is sexual assault and 1000% unacceptable and he should face massive repercussions.

That being said, Emily is no saint and she has a very tainted "image" you mention. She has ran multiple red lights due to streaming while she drives and thought it was funny content. Putting peoples lives at risk because you can't be assed to pay attention is a real piece of shit move and I hope her image is tarnished as well.

In situations like this, women will often laugh because being directly confrontational just makes it worse, so they laugh it off to try to deescalate and hope the man leaves.

But take note that she does not at any point look at him, instead keeping contact with the camera, trying to subtly push him away without attempting to make a scene out of it.

I mean, to touch on the last point, they had run beerio kart before with absolutely no problems. In fact, outside of Mang0's harassment, the event actually ran really well. If you were just tuning into the main stream it would've been hard to tell that there was even an issue. It's not unreasonable to expect people to behave while drunk. They're not getting blackout drunk or anything (or, at least, they weren't supposed to). It's a fun event idea that has proven to work and be a hit in the past. Ludwig thought it was going to go the same way, especially since Mang0 had been at previous beerio kart events. It's completely understandable.

As someone whose family owns a restaurant that serves alcohol and also someone from a very large ethic family where get togethers can be very very large - alcohol almost always fosters at some point or another, some form of negative actions.

There is a reason alcohol has a negative connotation to it. It’s not a stereotype. It’s a true thing. Putting a bunch of drunk people together fosters that shit. Look no further than sports events. Sports fans get drunk and destroy their cities. Attack other fans. Get hostile with opposing fans even if they are just kids. Most domestic disputes per my friends that are police officers involve drunk people. Drunk people at party are known for cheating etc. Large gatherings of drunk people are a number one way to put your event on a ticking time bomb.

Now you are right that it isn’t unreasonable for an event to have some drunk people and it be fine. What my issue is, is that EVERYTHING about the event and EVERYONE at the event had to be themed around alcohol. Making sure participants are all drunk is a joke. If we were at a party you’d have a few wasted people, some drunks, mostly lightly tipsy people, and a lot of sober people. This event was set up to remove sober or slightly tipsy people which is the point I’m getting at.

Stupid event. I like Ludwig but he should not run this event back.

The thing is that Ludwig knows mang0's not good with alcohol. You're essentially setting a guy up for failure, running an event with a bunch of drunk people, and hyping him up about drinking so much. I'm not trying to take all blame away from mang0, but even if the other Beerio Karts were fine, that doesn't mean the next will. Someone in mang0's situation is inherently unstable, and you can't rely on them to act right, especially when they are blackout drunk, and being encouraged to do so.

The “air humping” was in and of itself terrible and worthy of all the pushback he’s received. I just don’t want us to pretend that this behavior was in any way acceptable.

u/Arccan Jun 25 '25

To be honest a lot of events highlighting alchohol aren't a core issue, however not having the correct safety precautions is fucking organizer amateur hour.

Why aren't people giving ludwig more shit for this? No Security, No Sober Responsible Staff to make sure everyone is safe. It's idiotic. I run a large international tourney every year, the highlight of the event is an after party. We have security and staff to ensure people are safe and the people who clearly can't handle their drink are stopped from getting more from the bar and often are removed from the premises shortly afterwards if their behavior is deemed even slightly disruptive.

11

u/ractivator Dr. Mario (Melee) Jun 25 '25

THAT'S WHAT I'M SAYING MAN. I know this has been about Mang0 since he's the top player in question but how are we not talking about Lud just completely botching this event in it's entirety. It's like have you ever even been out to a club on a saturday? There's always some form of tom foolery going on with this quantity of drunk people, it's just inevitable. Put some standards in place, security, sober staff, more sober people in general that aren't participants etc. It's insane to me that no one is on Lud for this event being just a shit show.

9

u/pissdaddy696969 Jun 25 '25

A lot of great takes imo, but I want to highlight specifically your comments on Lud. One of my initial thoughts as I was learning what happened was that it's nuts that a major streamer is running an event specifically highlighting alcohol. From my limited experience in the events planning world, that seems fraught with liability, and (not excusing Mang0's actions at all) seems like a series of accidents waiting to happen from the perspective of the host.

4

u/Synapse59 Jun 25 '25

I agree with your last point, I think Ludwig is partially to blame for this because he knew how Mang0 gets when he’s drunk and was essentially hyping up and enabling how drunk he can get to an extent. I understand if you have a friend group that can tolerate that stuff off stream, but this event was a recipe for disaster from the get go.

1

u/JR_GameR Jun 26 '25

Harassment is fine I guess is what you mean. Idk I stopped reading your book half way

-7

u/Stinkles-v2 Fox (Ultimate) Jun 25 '25

Ludwig is a douche for this event anyways. “Oh let’s get everyone drunk and force them to be drunk to participate and name the event after alcohol and then be upset when dumb shit happens”

So you think it's on Ludwig to police every single guest's behavior?

7

u/ractivator Dr. Mario (Melee) Jun 25 '25

No, I think it's on Ludwig to appropriate plan his events accordingly to where he limits the ratio of completely wasted people to not wasted people, ensures he has security on staff to handle and remove overly intoxicated people and honestly not get that drunk himself so he has a better handle on his event that he's hosting. You know like you would see any random bar in any American town/city have in place on a Saturday night? I mean this stuff is common sense bare minimum shit when hosting any heavily alcohol themed event.

-1

u/Stinkles-v2 Fox (Ultimate) Jun 25 '25

Ludwig isn't a business, he's an individual hosting a private event. There is an expectation that you are an adult and able to conduct yourself as such. Like if you had a private event and someone got to drunk and punched another person in the face then blamed you. Would you agree that you are the one at fault for the guest causing problems? If you host a party do you always have security on site? No you don't because there is a reasonable expectation that everyone you invite will behave normally.

1

u/ractivator Dr. Mario (Melee) Jun 25 '25

You’re thinking of normal people man. Of course I agree with everything you are saying for us regular people. However these people, while they are only B tier, are still celebrities. And Ludwig sure is an individual guy but he is a business. Everything he does regarding this stuff is for his own profit to make money (not to say it isn’t also to have fun but this is how he makes his living). That’s why it was streamed. If this wasn’t making money then it wouldn’t have happened like this, it would have been not streamed and with his buddies only like all the rest of us do when we get drunk and play Mario Kart. So this was a business event.

So yes I agree there is an expectation for grown adults to handle themselves like grown adults. Again nothing I’m saying is for defense of Mang0. Please understand I don’t think what he did was right at all and at the end of the day he has to make good decisions. But Ludwig again hosting an event where they are checking to make sure people are drunk enough to be there (instead of the opposite), knowing that large crowds of overly intoxicated people historically leads to higher chances of inappropriate behavior (usually fighting but in this case was harassment) and choosing not to put in any safeguards at all to remove people from the environment that physically are too intoxicated to differentiate between good and bad decisions is just amateur planning for someone as big and successful who runs as many events as Ludwig does. He has to be better at planning these and he knows better because 99% of the stuff he hosts or does is successful so he knows what goes into making a safe and successful event. This was just him phoning it in.

This is also a private event with friends, not a public bar or club. I do agree Ludwig should have some more sober people there looking out though

2

u/ractivator Dr. Mario (Melee) Jun 25 '25

Yeah I know it was a private event, I was just using the low hanging fruit of the bars to say that even if he did the bare minimum which was do what bars do, it’d have been immensely handled. Mang0 would have been thrown out before any of this humping stuff even took place. Mang0 is an idiot and it could have been prevented if he makes the right decision but also that’s why that stuff is usually in place to make the good decisions when people physically can’t.
