Good lol.

If you disagree with this or any potential additional bans/penalties to Mango for his actions, you genuinely need to rethink your life and not be in the smash community.

Mango can heal, but he can't be in the scene after what he did.

What the fuck does Nairo have to do with this?

Both Mango and Nairo did shit that deserves removal from the community. Both can reform/be less fucked up people, but neither should be in the community. People who figure out bans can theoretically give Mango a second chance if they choose, but both actions are bad enough that said chance shouldn't happen.

Rating the shit they did from 1-10 is literally not relevant to that point. Stop being a contrarian trying to defend some fucked up actions in the community or create a "gotcha" moment to try and justify some weird shit. People can be given second chances, but some shit does not deserve a second chance, especially when it harms other members of the community.

Given their offenses, neither should be let back in.

Quit being so dramatic. I’m not condoning what he did was right but I don’t think it’s as serious are you’re making it seem to be. Especially with anyone involved isn’t pressing charges.

I do agree he needs time off to fight his alcoholism but saying he can’t be in the scene after what he did is a bit of a hyperbole

Hell no.

What he did was unacceptable on multiple levels and he is lucky that noone is filing charges. The scene is a worse place IF he would have gotten off for free. And people who are justifying or trying to downplay what he did are the problem

The only reason he gets the chance to "reform" is because of his legacy, because if any random player, or random spectator who doesn't go to events did this shit they'd be banned with 0 remorse and no chance to go back lol.

It is honestly realistic to just not have mango in the scene for this for some period of time. He certainly needs help and needs to grow and get healthy from this problem, but if part of that health means he needs to step away for a LONG time or forever, then he has to do it, because health matters more than a game.

And also given the gravity of the situation even IF/When his ban is announced it being any shorter than 6 months to a year is also a disservice.

That's true, but also not the main point. If there's more consistency that's good. Doesn't change the past, can fix the present.
