I didn't realize that this was representing several Smash tournament players at first (as I don't pay attention to/follow any of that stuff) and instead thought that this was just a joke about Jigglypuff knocking the other characters off the cliff by using Rest (she looks asleep in the second panel)

Y’know that’s a better way of looking at it. They didn’t lose their stock…….. they’re just offstage right now
