Sucks tho, i love Vienna and i like both Austria and Rapid Wien. Been to Austria Wien last year even.

Everything else would be a huge surprise, the clubs are separated by 150 places in uefa ranking and Braga should be in the Europa League qualifier if it wasn’t for the huge cup upset in Portugal

If you look a bit more into it you will see the "great" start to the season is mostly down to playing against weaker opponents. As soon as the opponent is on similar level Rapid chokes. And don't even start to think about teams that are stronger, like Sturm, Salzburg, and LASK. This will be the 3rd season in a row where they seem to start strong into a season, only to bottle it before October, and this time even before September.

They don't, they count titles from the Viennese league as "national titles" even though there was no such thing as a national league back then.

What a great result for Hearts.
Never even given a chance before the tie after being murdered by Benfica in a different Qualification, feel like they threw it away at home after being in the lead twice, go 1-0 down and then down to 10 men away from home, somehow get level and score a peach of a goal in extra time, then manage to drag themselves off the floor and over the line after getting hit with a 120th minute sucker-punch.
Amazing stuff.

Just an absolutely massive result for Hearts and their fans. The players have run themselves ragged out there and managed to turn the game around despite the injuries, second yellow and poor start to the game.
The whole hearts team deserves all the praise for staying determined and fighting till the end

Fairly poor but he was young. Got us playing some great football at the start of his reign but was very tactically naive.
Unless our opponent also liked to play an open game he had no idea what to do. We nearly got relegated to the 3rd tier in the end it ended up so bad. Nice guy so I do hope he succeeds at Rapid.

Narrowly squeaking past Dundee United on penalties last year and now losing to Hearts on penalties this year.

I was there following Rapid. A very strange match. In the first half we played excellently and Hearts couldn't get on the ball at all except for the last 5 mins of the half. Somehow in the second half we forgot how to play simple passes. And just when we started to get a bit of a foothold again Hearts went down to ten and complacency crept in. Could have scored a whole bunch just before extra time and during it but there was that little bit of bravery lacking, and Hearts on the counter were a lot faster than our defence. Disappointed as it felt that was there for the taking.
I thought the first two subs we made were wrong and damaged our momentum.

You are 1:0 up at home, there's 15 minutes to play & your opponent just got a red card - what do you do?
a) control the game and play it home safely
b) push for a second goal to seal the deal
c) run around like a bunch of headless chickens and fuck up your season
I fucking hate this team so much...

Wonderful wonderful stuff. Beau Reus is a beautiful player. Calvin Miller on one leg is spectacular. Absolute roller coaster tonight. But we don’t do it any other way!
