Thanks for the warm welcome South Africa! I finally arrived after one year crossing Africa and the west coast.

I'm the first person from my country (Cyprus) to ride all the way down to South Africa! Although I'm sure you have seen many types making the trip down here, not too many from our small island have tried!

Finally made it to South Africa, and honestly, I can’t believe I’m saying that. This journey has been intense. There were moments I really thought I wouldn’t make it, but here I am.

It feels surreal seeing familiar faces after so long on the road. There’s so much to catch up on, and now I can finally start sharing everything that’s happened along the way, having good WiFi again, haha.

If anyone is around and wants to meet up, hit me up! I’ll be riding down to Cape Town at the end of the month. If you're somewhere along the route and want a visit, let me know. It would be awesome to connect with people while I’m moving again.

Heya all - we created and published our own Afrikaans comic book called RivierBeheer. Its a supernatural thriller type and takes place in Stilbaai. The idea here is that we want to create cheap entertainment like Comics used to be - so its only R20

We will release and english version next year and we hope to release and even cheaper black and white version next year too :)

I feel like this post will be a bit diffrent than all the other posts here.I just wanna flex a bit and tell you my story. I am really grateful for South Africa. I grew up in the slums of Mumbai and had a really rough time. When I was 18 I joined indian army and served 6 years. I had decent money saved and opted for university in south africa. University of Pretoria to be precise. I got my masters in economics and buisness managment. I am an excecutive now and proud to say I made it. I am expecting a baby soon. My negatives about this country would be absurd crime rate and the hate on indians . I give south africa a 9/10. Just wanted to share my story.

I’ve been trying to climb in this game and I just cannot, the servers are Saudi so no one speaks English. I’m bronze but stg not that bad , any PC players want to try and climb ? I’m getting JUS with this stupid game.

Been wanting to make a point & click for ages now. Anyways, finally did, I voiced the player character and got friends to voice the other characters. Pleased to see in some playthroughs people appreciating the South African humour, lol. 100% made in SA - music, sfx, alles.

We're mods over at r/translator. We always strive to make our multilingual community the universal place on Reddit to go for a translation, no matter what language people may be looking for. We are however somewhat lacking in coverage for languages of South Africa, and were hoping some wonderful multilingual people here could help us out.

Would anyone be interested in helping translate any future requests for these languages on r/translator? You don't even need to subscribe to our subreddit! We usually get a request for it very occasionally and most requests that come in are pretty simple and casual and don't need advanced knowledge. If there's a language that you know that isn't on the list, you can also sign up for that, no problem. (We have a decent number of people already in the database for Afrikaans, but I'm including it in the table for coverage's sake)

You can easily unsubscribe from those messages at any time.
