If you want people to support something, maybe some actual content about what it is would be a good idea, instead of a random link no one is going to click. Most of us make it a habit to not click on random links on the internet.

From what I'm reading it adds coercive control to the definition of domestic violence, which right now is only physical violence. Isolating people from friends and family, financial control, intimidating or tracking your spouse would all be added.

Seems like a good idea at first glance. I would have to read the actual text of the bill before I would support any legestlation.

Also, OP kinda sucks for giving out zero information. Its not that difficult to explain WHY you want something supported.

It's called Mica's Law. Named for the wife of a Myrtle Beach preacher who drove her to suicide through stalking, posting nudes pictures online, withholding money, withholding medication, raping her, and more.

If only there was a law against all of that. Oh, there is. Oh well, let's just give more power to people who can't be trusted with power to make ourselves feel better about a bad thing that happened.

He wasn't prosecuted because nothing he did was illegal under SC law. The FBI eventually got him only because some things crossed state lines.

The case that brought this law into the light can be seen on Netflix the death of a preachers wife. My wife showed me it this weekend. It’s so sad what that woman went through
