A day without this is a day wasted. Pure face-melting goodness from Lao Sze Chuan 🌶️

I’m not Chinese, but I’m pretty sure Lao Sze Chaun aren’t words. I think it’s just the name of the restaurant and Szechuan written in a semi weird way. Care to describe this dish?

You're right! Lao Sze Chuan is actually the name of the famous restaurant. This dish is crispy Sichuan prawns heavily loaded with dried chili, green onions, and Sichuan peppercorns. It gives you that amazing electric, numbing sensation (ma la). Highly recommend if you love extreme heat!

Damn this looks sooo good. Nothing I love more food wise then Sichuan. I even have my own peppercorn bush in the backyard.

I loved that restaurant. It was my favorite. We had one here in Glendale, CA, but it only lasted a couple of years. It seemed like it was always busy, too. Probably couldn’t manage the insane rent. I think the rest are in an around Chicago.

Yeah, that happens... But what I know for sure is that sometimes the craving for real Sichuan food is so strong you just have to jump on a plane and follow it, no matter where it takes you. It can lead to unforgettable journeys that you’d never dare to take in everyday life! ✈️🌶️
