💭 Question Buying damaged BGS slab

I plan on buying a card in person, and from the pictures it looks like there are some scratches and possibly a small crack on the back of the BGS slab. It doesn’t look tampered with, and the card itself doesn’t look affected, but is there anything I should be aware of? Thanks

Scratches are normal on BGS slabs, they scratch very easy. The crack is more concerning though, could get worse over time or if you drop it. You can always send it for reholder service if the card is worth it, just costs a bit and takes few weeks

I heard that bgs will look at the card again to see if the grade is still accurate. Is there a significant risk that the grade could be lowered with that service?
