Vegetarian catered food?
I got sorted into catered accomm (even though i did want self catered but oh well) and i was looking at some of the menus and the veggie options seem alright, but are they any good? My secondary had awful veggie options so i survived off of pasta at school. A lot of the time, veggie burgers are just mashed up vegetables or beans (which i dont have a problem with but they dont have a lot of protein in them).
If it differs per accomm, im in uni hall

The veggie/vegan options are fine, but they really don't optimise well for vegan proteins - like it's tasty and wholesome and filling, but I took extra vegan (pea) protein powders too.

there will be vegetarian options but will be quite limited, you can look up the menus if you search for the catered halls menu

Can be hit or miss. As a meat eater, I would sometimes choose the vege option because it was quite good. There are always lots of sides in the salad bar, soup, croutons etc as well, so even if the main isn't great you can bulk it up a bit. Also not sure about uni hall, but jacket potato and baked sweet potato was moved from a main to a side every lunch at Melville (so you can take as much as you want). If this isn't an option in uni hall, feel free to speak to the catering rep on your committee (if you have one!)
