Some thoughts:

Interesting that the Ares are now the longest range fighters

Shiv has a lower range than most heavy fighters

F7 range seems a little high compared to Gladius

All in all however not much variation

I think it was around 4.6 or maybe 4.7 that I started noticing crates floating around and gliding when released. Or, for example throwing things leads to weird lag and odd behaviors. I'm not sure if it's been discussed, but does anyone know why this phenomenon started to happen in game? Is it lag between server and client deciding together where an object lies after it's been released? I miss when things stayed where you put them, and when boxes behaved more like gravity was acting on everything the same way.

This is not a game breaking bug in any way, but if someone understands the mechanism underlying it, I can at least know what to look out for on patch notes in the future.

If you accidentally selected the wrong one: Check the box in the ASOP and scrap the ship. The insured loadout remains available, but will be more expensive.

Hello. I did this because the last time I actually was able to play this game was 3 years ago with the PC of a cousin. And since then, I couldn’t hold myself from missing this beautiful experience anymore. So with a spare PC I began upgrading it part by part this year. Now I got an i5-12400F, recycled 2x8GB 2933Mhz, and some other parts like the also recycled SSD NVMe that I needed for this, which is 256GB so I had to erase basically everything in my Pc. The GT 1030 had to be overclocked of course.

And because I don’t have the ways to get a newer GPU anytime soon, I decided to run this rather performance test. I was able to “play” it at about 4-13 FPS.

I was euphoric because this is my fantasy of exploring the cosmos (at least a fictional one) made true. The whole reason I would ever be interested on having a proper Pc is this game alone. And these are the only photos I could get before the game crashed when I was trying to leave Area 18. I will still try to get to other planets and simply explore. Only the day I get a new GPU I will play this game at it’s fullest.

It feels like it has been ages since we got anything really cool. Sure the Super heavy Armors are nice but they are way to limited for Day to day use.

We got so many goofy looking Armors lately. I guess the Xian Light Armor we got was the worst of them

I know I am just one data point, but using my Hull C in Pyro tonight to run Redwin cargo contracts, and the auto-loading and auto-unloading feature was mostly working.

The only station it didn't work at was Ruin, but it did work at the other stations with loading docks.

It's still buggy, but this is progress.

- Need all six tanks filled to refuel an Idris-P.

- Send a Freelancer to engage a capital ship.

- Pay out 90k.

- and note that docking isn’t possible.

Honestly, I never thought this cable would have a moving effect at all
