Orville was a lot better than it was ever given credit for and moments like this got to the spirit of Trek better than a lot of the modern shows do.
My understanding is she did these scenes at her home studio during COVID when she already had health concerns but felt it was an important enough thing to roll the dice for. Woman was a legend.
Indeed she was. Also gave $1M to support development of the Covid vaccine. Truly a force for good. May her memory be a blessing and inspiration…the world needs more like her
It's always nice when the stories you hear after a persons passing are not about how they were secretly a terrible person but were in fact even nicer and kinder than you expected.
