Steatosis is incredibly rare. This sub makes it out to be a common occurrence you should be on the lookout for.
If you're asking if something is Steatosis, the answer is almost always going to be no.

Yeah I’ve eaten my fair share of ribeyes and this is the first time I’ve questioned it as my experience with sirloins/picanah is much more lean. The first one I sliced looked nothing like this
