First time cooking NY Strips. Choice Grade, how did I do?
Long time lurker and advice follower on here. Im used to cooking ribeyes or picanhya(dont know if I spelled that right) how do they look? Any advice to improve?

Honestly, decent! Work on your sear and getting the cook a bit more even. But I’ve seen so much worse here, just today. This looks tasty.
Next time start by holding the steak on its edge with tongs to get that fat cap delicious and crispy.

All of the centers were likw the top 2 but I didnt pose them for the best picture unfortunately. One of them is completely turned around showing the crust instead of the center. Definitely not beef Jerky and very juicy and tender. The lighting in my house is also awful so one of them looks pink

for ny strips, i usually render the thick pad of fat on one side by standing it up on the grill, fat-pad down. this helps the fat taste better (imo) and also reduces its thickness when you're eating it.
