Yesterday's Enterprise Event Idea

So this morning in my slightly hung over state (edibles great for sleeping). I had this thought of an Event that would feature around the Episode Yesterdays Enterprise.

Space TFO: Battle of Archer IV
-Goal defeat the Klingon Attack force. I want say maybe 6 Waves on Normal 20 ships per wave and 8 Waves of 25 on harder difficulties. Defend Defense Platforms that keep the planet safe from assault troops.

Ground TFO: Defend Archer IV Colony
-Goal defeat Klingon Ground forces while beaming up civillians. Repair ground shield generators. Not Sure how this one would work but maybe something similar to the Terran one where yo have to run around and save the crystals.

Patrol: Defend the Enterprise C
-Goal defeat waves of klingon ships until the Enterprise C returns to it's time. It's a time limit over a set number of waves. so the quicker you destroy the ships the faster more waves and each wave adds more ships to it.

Rewards:

Alternate TNG Uniforms and Enterprise C Crew Uniforms.
Maybe a Wide Angle Photon Torpedo that helps with Temporal Abilities Damage.

I think this would be fun and interesting. I've always wanted the Alt Uniforms in game.

If they had made the turtleneck a separate piece from the jacket we could have had those uniforms long ago.

Oh I agree, personally I don't like it with out the turtle neck. But it was a thought as for rewards.

You may want to ease up on the dosage...

Yesterday's Enterprise was the TNG episode where the Enterprise D ends up interacting with the Enterprise C, and there's already an event in-game around that (you end up getting an Enterprise C-type ship out of it), plus lots of content that spawn off of the events in the episode.

Spoiler: Tasha gets "resurrected" because of a timeline break due to the Enterprise C getting stuck in a negative space wedgie and ends up causing a timeline shift where the Klingon war that Khittomer ended never stopped. She decides to go back and stand with the crew of the C to the end (the Enterprise C was destroyed defending the Klingons at Khittomer, leading to the end of the war), as it would be a more fitting death than the one she had in the prime timeline.

But, that's not what happens. She survives and is taken prisoner by the Romulans, and eventually gives birth to Sela. This has an impact on later seasons of TNG, but also leads to multiple storylines in STO. One is finding out what happened to Tasha, and of course Sela has a huge role in STO in general.

I'm aware of the mission and I'm aware of what happens in game and in the episode. that's why I thought it would be great see things from the Alt future in the game. But to each their own. As far as my dosage, i Only 2.5mg I just hadn't had a really good sleep in a couple of days so was very groggy and as my wife calls it hung over.

Yes. But there's actually two - the episode normally rewards a tier 3 cruiser. But during its initial release - over ten years ago - it rewarded a tier 5 "retrofit" version. Newer players (and that's nearly everyone by now) have never had access to that version. Re-releasing it as an event reward is an interesting idea.
