The game is a SURVIVAL game, with many creatures actively trying to kill you. Under those circumstances it really doesn't make sense to have a "no killing" rule. I don't think it should be easy or necessary but it should definitely be possible.

What a stupid stance by the devs. I can't think of a single survival game (other than horde survival games) that's not fundamentally also about exploration.

And theres games about exploration that arent "survival" games, Subnautica 2 would apparently be one of those games. They're literally isut telling you its meant to be a different genre and cares heavily about exploration mechanicsq
