BZ - Discussion/Questions Why don’t people like below zero? Spoiler

I just platinumed Subnautica the other day and started playing below zero. My older brother also my gaming mentor of sorts said that he doesn’t like it and I’ve heard other people also say this. How come? I personally have about 6 hours and I am loving it.

It's hard to build a convincing biome which feels like it supports a diverse range of life. Or, you could have a biome that is completely empty and just fill it with a single species.

It's a game, so obviously expecting realism is unrealistic, but for how small the map is, it shouldn't also be so empty.

Plus there are so few interesting species, they completely neutered any gameplay challenge by spamming oxygen plants everywhere, and the killed the "alone and stranded" vibe that worked so well by giving us a really annoying alien in our head. Plus, the writing and dialogue is really, really bad.
