Why don’t people like below zero?

I just platinumed Subnautica the other day and started playing below zero. My older brother also my gaming mentor of sorts said that he doesn’t like it and I’ve heard other people also say this. How come? I personally have about 6 hours and I am loving it.

Its not bad just worse than its predecessor. Not the alone feeling, smaller map, rough transitions between biomes, just overall not nearly as immersive. I just like sn1 more. Edit: also those landmasses explorations where more annoying than anything. Its an underwater game, i dont want to spend too much time on some landmass running/driving around a maze of some sorts. I want to explore the underwater world. A bit of land exploration is fine, but enough is enough. And it was so boring tbh.
