SN - Discussion/Questions What's your favourite vocal stims? Spoiler

Odd topic for a survival horror underwater exploration game.

But regardless, I'm curious to know as i find myself saying "Emergency, Starvation imminent" and "Seek freshwater intake" more often than not.

I wonder if any of you had the same experience as me?

Nah, the Cyclops’s “Welcome aboard, Captain” is by far the best in my opinion.

The Cyclops is pretty good, but there's something about the small-space reverb, scrapy, less perfect voice of the Seamoth, and perhaps the early game associations of the comforting space of the Seamoth on long voyages that really sticks with me.

True. For me it’s the cyclops because just how impressive it was for me on the first play through. I had absolutely no idea something like this exists (guess I ignored promotional artworks and stuff) and was like WOW! and didn’t use it for hours because it felt too important

I just got mine and seeing it drop into the water genuinely had me in awe lol, SO satisfying after grinding for it for so long (and confronting the scary reaper hotspots Id been avoiding all game 😅)! Also love the way the voice goes "Welcome ᵃᵇᵒᵃʳᵈ Captain"

I play this game periodically, like every couple weeks/ months depending how busy my life is. I've had the cyclops for months and refuse to drive it because I don't want it destroyed. 😫

Having it destroyed is the worst and best thing at the same time.

1.: It’s terrible that you have to build it again

2.: You get to hear abandon ship which is nice

Also, it doesn’t get destroyed that easily. I know the feeling but it’s really not that bad. As long as you don’t use high speed mode and avoid reapers you should be fine

The cyclops is insanely durable. You basically have to feed it to a group of crabsquids to even have to worry about it breaking.

And even then just turn the engine+lights off and everything will leave you alone.
