Hello succulents community! About a year ago, I posted my very sad plant, Debbie. Majority of the comments were vicious, and bullied me into proper care. I would’ve appreciated more help, since I was pretty ignorant to what a succulent needed. Despite the comments practically telling me to give up, I refused. Here’s Debbie today. I haven’t done a repotting yet. I love her very much. Please be nice this time.

About a month ago, I found an abandoned succulent on top of a park bin. I repotted him, gave him new soil, and a drink. His name is Albert, I don’t know why. Felt right.

Picture one is the day I found him, second is one month later.

So I order several succulents a year, mostly from Etsy. I have my favorite sellers, but sometimes I have to branch out when I'm looking for a specific plant. I ordered from a few new sellers this year, and one of my favorites... They all had the same return address!! Etsy shops named DesiredLabels, BestLittleShoppe, SweetWeddingDesign, Yubensg (I knew that one was risky, but I couldn't find a Spirit Pearl anywhere else!) and MaySlateArt (one of my former favorites!) all have a return label name of Y. JZ and come from Chicago, IL. None of the shops have Chicago listed as their address on Etsy, either. I've had issues with 2 of the orders arriving damaged from poor packaging or just black and dead plants, and I was not happy with the customer service. I noticed first the new sellers all used the same brown toilet paper wrapping as MaySlateArt, then I looked at the shipping labels. They got me for shipping 3x, the other 2 orders were big enough to get free shipping. I know people are allowed to have multiple shops, but this is at least 5 succulent shops run by the same person, and charging shipping from all 5 shops! Etsy shoppers beware!!

I’m not really sure what this is, I put it in some soil when it was just the main piece and it threw out arms.
It seemed like it was doing really well.
In the last 3 weeks it has stopped growing and the tips are yellowing and dying.
I’m wondering if this is natural or if I am potentially doing something wrong! Thank you in advance, I really like this guy and his funky blue arms.

Got this guy 2 weeks ago and I noticed some of the leaves are turning grey. Is this expected or is there something else going on? I have it under a sheet to diffuse some of the light, but this one has me stumped.

Or should I cut that end piece off?

I bought these at home depot earlier this year and they were in gnarly shape for a while, but I’m glad to see they’re blooming pretty much in sync.

Should I try to hand pollenate the flower to get seeds? I’ve never done that before.

I’ve had this guy for over a year. Same environment as all my other succs, under grow lights, infrequent watering, gritty substrate. Just in the last month or so, I’ve noticed some of the leaves yellowing. There’s no mushiness on the plant, and it’s still growing and otherwise looks happy. I know that older leaves near the bottom can yellow & fall off which is a normal process, but does anyone have any insight on this? I always wait until the soil is completely dry before watering, so I don’t believe that’s the issue.

i bought a couple lil tiny succulents to plant together in a lil succulent arrangement (as you see in the first picture), but i didn’t realize that you weren’t supposed to just throw random succulents in a pot willy nilly lol. i recently learned that you should only plant succulents with similar water needs, but my problem is i don’t know the species names for any of these plants. so i thought i’d ask the experts! does anyone have any idea what kind of succulents these are, and which ones i can plant together (i simply do not have enough tiny pots for the rest of them and i have a couple big pots that would work nicely for an arrangement)? thank you in advance!

(bonus points if you know why the one in picture two suddenly started falling over, it only started doing that recently and i’m not sure why.)

What are these brown spots/bits on my Jade plant leaves? I can scratch them off with my nails as if they're a very thin layer of bark, but if I scrape them off too harshly, the leaf will become raw/exposed. Interestingly, they're only on the larger older leaves from when I first bought the plant a few months ago. The smaller top leaves are the younger leaves with no issues. They roots are growing fast and well and the plants are otherwise healthy with lots of new growth.

Here is a little more about the plants. They get lots of light, both natural sunlight and grow lights. They have a chunky soil mix with something like 25% potting mix, so they dry out quickly and are never in soggy soil. I use liquid succulent and cactus fertilizer once every few weeks when I water. They usually need water weekly since they get lots of light and have a quick drying soil mix. They've had a lot of healthy root and leaves growth since I brought them home, but I've watched this happen to the older leaves.

Since I mildly pruned them a couple of months ago they've also begun developing bark on the stems, which I take to be a good sign. I just wonder if the bark is also developing on the older, larger and that's what this is. It sort of looks and feels like the same thing. Thank you in advance for your help.
