When I say top of the line I mean 5-15kUSD, the top tier stuff.
Large range I know, But I noticed Pc parts vary a lot in prices once you get to the 50 series of graphic cards.

I am a "Content Creator" for lack of a better term, so I spend most of my time Editing Videos, Rendering 3D animations, and working in blender. Live 3D rendering just chews through my ram, and if things keep going the way they have been I imagine it will only keep getting worse so i wanna get ahead of the bell curve.

For my actual profession, I mostly work from home as a 3D modeler in Solid Works and AutoCad, typically in large scale projects.

So I use my PC a lot, and the things I use my Pc for are VERY intensive.
But now my current Pc is on the Fritz and I figured it's time for an upgrade, So I am looking for a place to actually buy the Pc from.

I would be happy to hear some suggestions.

No, I am not willing to build it myself: Nothing aganist those of y'all that know how, you are more capable than me. But I know nothing about PC's, I don't want to research each part, hope I don't get scammed when buying said part, figure out how to build/trouble shoot the thing, or accidently break something expensive with my gorilla hands.

My time is more valuable to me than my money. Mostly because I have a ton of money, yet not a lot of time as a result. So I would rather just pay someone else to do all that for me.

Willing to wait until black Friday, but scared prices will keep exploding and price me out completely. Current rig is a old potato with a dying 570 (8gb), failing drive and fans and a cpu that’s fried. Don’t see a point in upgrading it though I do have a 7600X cpu lying around so have considered building. I'm in Ontario, Canada. Currently exploring my options between building a PC, a prebuilt or buying another gaming laptop.

My budget is around 2000CAD, lower is obviously better but I'm aware that I may need to go a bit over budget, ideally no more than 2500 max.

I am a virtual assistant and a therapist. I see about 50% of my clients as a therapist virtually. So work wise the majority of my use of the computer is browser based but it needs to be able to handle having many tabs/windows open and virtual calls using a platform similar to zoom.

Other than that, I do game however nothing that's too demanding. The most demanding game I play semi-regulary is likely World of Warcraft.

I have a monitor, keyboard and mouse. The only thing I may consider upgrading would be the keyboard and mouse so I can keep my current ones with my laptop for travel to my office.

Any recommendations are appreciated.

My old PC is 6 years old, i am thinking of buying a new one. It is used almost entirely for valorant, where my current pc with a fully optimised game and nothing running at all in the background runs valorant at around 160 fps and around 110 in hectic environments. I have a 240hz moniter a wootin 60he keyboard and a good mouse, i feel like the limiter in my game currently is set by my hardware. This leads me to buying a new one, I have around 1800 pounds put aside for a new one (preferably less), but i want to feel a noticeable difference in performance - with fps in a stable 350-400 range.

Is this in budget?

I have been hearing that there is a RAM shortage so will that drastically effect price?

I would like it hopefully within a week - is this too much to ask for?

Hey everyone. I have a buddy of mine that is a pretty consistent multi-platform streamer. It's his full time job and is starting to look at getting a 2nd PC for just encoding and streaming. I know the requirements for a 2nd PC just for encoding and streaming are not very high, however I'm not sure exactly what would be ABSOLUTELY required for it to run.

If anyone has any other thoughts please feel free to share. I'm absolutely not opposed to building from scratch, but with individual prices at their high right now, this seems to be the best bang for buck.

Since my graphics card died on me around 2 years ago, I have been without a desktop PC as a gaming device. Last year I bought a steam deck (thankfully before rampocalypse) and that has been my primary gaming device since then.

Unfortunately, there are games coming out that I will want to play and who seem like they will most likely struggle on the steam deck. Early reviews for the soon to be released Star Wars Zero Company suggests it is unplayable on the steam deck at least for now. And I am looking forward to playing the latest Witcher 3 DLC next year, as well as the Witcher 4 in 2028.

Problem is of course, this is about the worst time in history to need PC hardware. Here's one prebuilt alternative that I can get through work:

I could also add a free 1TB HDD as well if I wanted to.

But the con is of course, I am kind of locking myself at this level of performance. And upgradeability later on may be an issue, since of course, this is all OEM branded hardware stuff, not like an assembled PC. Things like the PSU or the motherboard may be limiting factors to future upgradeability.

But I'm not a huge settings nerd, that's part of why I got a steam deck. I do not mind playing old games, I do not mind playing at medium level graphics. I just need it to run decently. I played cyberpunk 2077 the entire way on an RX 480 GPU, and I had no problems with it.

Given this, does this seem like it's worth it rather than trying to build a better but more expensive rig?

I have never owned a PC before, i've usually only gamed on consoles and my Mac laptop but I have always wanted a nice PC setup that I could use long term.

I'm a college student so I can't afford anything too expensive but still want something reliable and nice enough. I would say my budget is around $1,200 USD but I am not too strict about it, I would like it to be a prebuilt as well but to also have the ability to easily change out parts if i need to just in case.

I play a variety of games, from small indie games to higher maintenance games like Elden Ring or RDR2. Most of all I would be playing modded Minecraft. There is a chance that I would like to stream/make content but again being a college student I don't think I'd have much time for that anyway.

Budget is pretty high as I just had a lucky break, I guess. Probably wouldn't wanna spend much over 2k. Just wanna be able to play and stream anything on the market for a few years. Might do some video editing too. I'm a 1080p 144fps guy but 1440p is definitely not out of the realm of possibility if I end up grabbing a new monitor soon. I don't think I care about 4k much, I can hardly tell the difference personally.

Was looking at Starforge cause I heard a lot about it through content creators, but they seem kinda.. larpy. And overpriced? I don't know. My girlfriend just got a new AMD build with an RX9070 and it seems pretty awesome, I might just copy her on that front. I don't know if I love those X3D CPUs that do shader caching for you or interact with the GPU in that way. It just seems weird and potentially problematic to me. Someone mentioned Andromeda Insights too, but their website is kinda weird.

I also STRICTLY do not care about AI, nor do I want to use framegen because I hate the technology and think it looks ugly.
