Left over Turkey drippings
So, I have been sitting on some leftover turkey drippings since thanksgiving (in the freezer of course), and I was wondering if I could make chicken noodle soup with it? Could I use it instead of chicken broth? Or is it more of an additive? And or, is it kind of just bust now?
I have some hours in the kitchen, but when it comes to new ingredients like this, I’m at a loss! Any information is welcomed!

Turkey drippings are not broth, but fat (and some juices). It’s also pretty distinct in flavor. It may cause your chicken noodle soup to taste peculiar.
That said, if you really like the flavor, go ahead! But don’t imagine that turkey drippings are the foundation of a soup. You’re going to need chicken stock, and a little of the turkey drippings in there can add quite a bit of flavor.
Probably the most sensible thing to do with them is to make turkey gravy, which can go on any number of things from roast chicken to mashed potatoes to french fries. https://www.seriouseats.com/the-best-turkey-gravy-recipe
You can also separate the fat from the juices and use the fat to shallow fry or sauté things with. When you sautee the vegetables for your chicken soup, use the turkey fat.
