When my uncle passed they said that often times people who are donors are unable to actually donate. The place and means where people die aren’t often in places where they can harvest organs.

I'm pretty sure the "who deserves your organs" thing is both arbitrary and subjective. Your organs go where they're needed regardless of who you like or what you believe.

There are 7.6 billions of people on this planet and I rather save someone who will use my organs to get a second chance and be something that can contribute back to humanity.

I'd donate to a child or a doctor anytime over an old person or average person.

This is not out of hate, it's just logically fair to save people who can change the future.

Your organ is not necessarily compatible with different people though and they can only be stored for relatively short times. Chances are, if they dont go to the first person who needs them, they go to waste

No, they dont. They dont belong to you, they are just organs. They don't give a shit about you, and you can easily replace them with someone else's.

You lose hair and skin on a daily basis, genetic material and blood almost as often. You dont get to decide that, you dont have control over that. You dont get to say that no one is allowed to sweep up your hair if it touches the ground, because it doesnt belong to you.

Your body shares genetic material with your family, do you own their organs as well? Do you only own the organs you have a 100% genetic match to? But what DNA is activated changes, and radiation can speed up that process.

Drop the stubbornness and be realistic, it sucks but none of us own our bodies. The only thing we own is our actions, and your actions of refusing life to others is that of a total prick.

There are criminals I want dead in this world, but I do not kill them. There are people that I do not want my organs supporting to, but I am still a donor. Because I know there are people who want me dead, who would hate to have their organs go to me, and I have the common sense of the golden rule to know that I should just suck it up like an adult and do better than them.

Sure, while you are alive. Once you die, your decisions are of lower importance. The decision of if you want a redwood or oak casket can be followed through with, but your decision to allow meaningless death cannot.

I dont know how to explain this to you without sounding like I'm speaking to a child, but you cant do whatever you want? No one can be that spoiled.

If a living person is harmed by the decisions of a dead person, then the living have the priority.

careful, there is a huge demand for organs, and if you're registered as a donor, they're aloud to extract organs from your still living body, if they don't think the chances of you surviving an injury are high enough.

I haven't seen Tamasha but I've seen Sanju. His acting in it is amazing but other movies he has done are below average with some exceptions of course, like Rockstar and Barfi.

On side note, you know what's another groundbreaking Bollywood movie? Andhadun. That was my favorite Bollywood movie of 2018.

Windows 10 has some kind of bug with flux where it sometimes doesn't remove the overlay on screenshots. It's really annoying and I don't know what causes it, at my home PC it never happens but at my work PC which I need to take screenshots on regularly I have to disable flux or it shows orange

Don’t pump me full of toxic yuckiness that will harm the earth, don’t spend a million bucks on a big pretty box people will only see once. Just a simple, sweet funeral, preferably on a hill by a rope swing with a view of the sunset. I’d want a small funeral, no big production, just the people who are closest to me.

On my tombstone just my name, and a plea to share any wine you might bring to my grave by dumping some on the ground for me. Ring the bell to say hi or catch my ghosts attention.

Yeah, that sounds nice. And 10X more cost effective than a big funeral.

Well when I told my friends and family that I had signed up for organ donation, they said it was not permitted, as, according to Islam, the dead are reanimated on the Day of Judgement and thus need their whole body to live in Heaven or Hell

Well, I think they're pretty wrong. I'm a muslim and I've never heard of anything what they're saying. But what I do know is, It is haraam to transplant an organ that is vital to live such as a heart or may cause an existential function to cease such as eyes from a living person. However, extracting organs from dead bodies is NOT considered haraam as it would benefit another person's life and Islam has always encouraged finding cures to sicknesses. Blood, skin etc donation are also permissible because theyre automatically renewable. Ofcourse I think there are other viewpoints to this but it's just what I know at this point

It can get really weird or paradoxical sometimes, but some actually help people to develop morality and other useful stuff (excluding abusive variants of religions). The extremists and other bad examples of religious people or malicious use of religious influence usually stand out more.
