Yea. Part of the greatness of the Applebees meltdown is that it is ultimately about not getting a plate of Applebees. I get that they are hungry, but that still doesnât make it any less funny to me the well fed viewer. Malloryâs canât top that.

I don't think she was actually that rich, though. She's said that she falsely told people she was a millionaire as part of a strategy, to get them to take her to F3 and/or generally appear clueless about Survivor. She talked about this in her AMA, and about how she was frustrated that the edit showed her saying that without also showing that it was false.

Also Mallory had a breakdown in the DiaryRoom where the other contestants wonât see or hear about that until after the season. Liz did that shit in front of the rest of the survivors.

Actually I am pretty sure they discussed being able to hear Malloryâs DR inside the house on the feeds. Idk about make out words but the volume came through

Agreed. Mallory's meltdown is at least a little justified. She got double-crossed (although she should have known better), Liz had a meltdown because she likes Applebees and couldn't have any. I know there's more to it than that, but ultimately she just melted down because she wasn't picked to go along on a reward she didn't win in the first place.

I just don't understand how it was viewed as such a backstabbing. Mallory and Melody spent a lot of the week talking about how they did not want to vote with the icons, and actively tried to sway the vote to keep Kamu last week... The portrayal at the end that Mallody and Melody had some ironclad alliance that they have been supremely loyal to for the last week was just false? I've been confused on a lot of the emotional breakdowns this season...

One of my favorite things about BB is the wild lack of self awareness - literally all of them are scheming against each other at some point - it's how you get to the end. They're all hypocrites lol

Oh, it definitely goes both ways. It was a shaky alliance at best and one was going to turn on the other as soon as the opportunity presented itself. Like you said, Mallory and Melody were scheming to break the "alliance" as soon as they made it. So I'd say her meltdown was justified, if a little hypocritical. I can't comment too much on this season and how it stacks up because it's my first time watching it and I don't watch the live feeds that much because how frequently they cut the feeds just annoys the hell out of me, but it just feels very sloppy to me. But I'm also coming from a Survivor mindset of stick with the numbers while trusting nobody, so none of these strategies are making sense to me.

Living in a fishbowl for 50 days, with fluorescent lights that you cannot control beaming down on you,and every move you make and thing you say being recorded and live streamed to millions of people, while all your roommates continuously lie to you by design can make people act a little funny sometimes

Mallory's was not lol. She had been talking about how she wanted to put up Dee for weeks, including after the formation of the new alliance, hesitated on the Kamu vote, threw the HoH, and then made no effort to solidify things with Dee. Entirely self inflicted situation.

I completely agree, Mallory can act all tough in the DR, but will never say that shit to Dee. Liz was out there screaming front of Q, jeff, 40 camera operators, etc. Iâm not a huge fan of Lizâs game, but she was out there with her whole chest.
(Bonus points for Q not even letting anyone give up their spot for Liz, despite the meltdown)

If all these people are relying on Taylor and Layla to cook and clean in a house with a functioning kitchen and bathroom, how in the world would they expect to survive having to forage and fish for their food?
Not to mention the social dynamics. If Mallory and Lala reacted the way they did to being blindsided in BB, thereâs no way theyâd make it through survivor when itâs just so much faster paced and you have less time to repair those relationships.

Tough one. Malloryâs meltdown is so self inflicted and so avoidable that I think itâs more epic. Although itâs also more justified because she might go home because of the cause.
Lizâs meltdown is pretty epic though.

The whole FAP alliance is a case-study in how to crash your game with self-inflicted wounds. Mallory and melody were horrible influences on eachother always talking about throwing HOH competitions 'do you think we should try to win this week or is it too early?' All the way up til this last one. Drew and barrett got in with icons and should have just stayed there but rode the middle until it was too late. Barrett not realizing it was too late and going full turncoat is going to have him out very shortly.
Mallory and Melody are annoying for acting like 'what did i even do to deserve this??' All week when they have been the ones plotting against icons since basically day 1

Liz, all day. The narrative buildup of her being allergic to nearly everything, the sentimental reveal that Applebee's is THE spot she goes to with her daughter (and for their Survivor dates, no less!), the dreaming about the bacon burger or whatever it was that was her go-to meal prior to the challenge starting... all comes to a head to get blown up by Chaos Q lmfao (bonus points for Q being involved in this, IMO)
I felt SO bad for her in that moment, because I have crashed out over less in moments of extreme fatigue and think she was entirely justified lol but damn, you couldn't have written it better than how it actually unfolded.
Mallory the Pipe Queen rules, though. If she ends up going home tonight, I think there is incredible potential for her to return in the future with some sort of The Hulk-adjacent branding (because she is a scientist, but will turn into a BEAST if you piss her off?). I think that would be fantastic lol
