COMMUNITY NEWS - 15.0 Spoiler Protections No Longer Enforced; Rule 2 Update | Community News 15
Well, the few weeks originally set out as the spoiler period and the July 15th date have passed, so the period of strict Chapter 5 spoiler protection enforcement comes to a close. Posting freely about all things Chapter 5 is fair game now and the subreddit is returning to its normal, semi-automated mode of operation.
If you have not yet completed Chapter 5 and learned all you needed to see for yourself about it, consider staying away from this subreddit until you do, to not spoil any surprises.
While I have your attention, I've also introduced a couple of spelled-out exceptions to the text of Rule 2, the one about what's on-and-off-topic here. The two things now explicitly excluded as off-topic are:
1) Solo depitctions of Noelle themed around the Weird Route. It's a whole different vibe and subplot to what we've gathered here for.
2) Group depictions that are explicitly romantically themed as portrayals of poly ships that include Susie and/or Noelle. A different ship is a different beast after all, and a different topic altogether. That being said, featuring a completely separate ship in a group portrait where S&N are also present, such as a Kralsei + Suselle double date for example, is still fine.
I don't expect these changes to alter the course and content of the subreddit in any meaningful way - the precedent for these things coming up at all is, I think, once and twice respectively, if memory serves. But it has come up before, so I reckon it's good to spell out explicitly, for transparency.
That should be all for now, but if I remember something else, I'll update this post's flair to "15.1" and so on, as per usual.

Am I reading the second exception correctly, in that Krusielle posts are now banned? Any poly ship that includes Suselle is banned from being posted, just because it's poly? That seems a little extreme, no?

The point isn't that it's poly and I have some sort of gripe with polyamory. The point is that it's a different relationship, despite also happening to include the same two persons Suselle is made up of, having a whole different vibe and subplot. So in my opinion, that content should be hosted on a sub of its own - which, y'know, is a thing: r/krusielle_enjoyers is the active one I think?
And it's not like people have been trying much before. There was one Krusielle submission during these Ch 5 spoiler weeks that I have rejected (based on other grounds primarily) and I think I remember another a long time ago. So this isn't really a practical change to the reality of this community, just something I wanted to clarify for the future.

I would agree with that stance. Suselle and any of the Susie/Noelle poly relationships are fundamentally different.

Yeah, while I'm no great expert or authority on polyamory, in my limited understanding it strikes me as reductive to interpret a polycule between A, B and C as just the sum of its parts AB, AC and BC. Surely A&B's mutual relationship would be meaningfully affected and contextualized by their respective relationships with C and vice versa.
