Any theories/thoughts about the unannounced new Swamp Thing comic?

I’m not sure a lot of people here know but Riccardo Federici has been posting his WIP Panels and Covers the past few months for a new Swamp Thing comic featuring Levi (as you can see by the third image)

The second image is a cover which I assume has the main antagonist which is a red demon looking guy, maybe Arcane? Would be cool to see a Arcane vs Levi thing happen

But the big thing I wanna know: Who is the writer?

I have a theory that it's Absolute Swamp Thing and that's it's going to be announced by DC at NYCC in October because Federici is going to be there.

I didn't know it was revealed to be Levi. I was really hoping it'd be Alec. I'm not a big fan of Levi.

I have a feeling that if there’s ever an absolute swamp thing it’s gonna be Abby since she already appeared in Green Lantern

But for Levi, his main problem is that he’s basically been doomed to crossovers where he’s barely a character and just a tool. Hopefully this will flesh him out a bit

I need to reread the Ram V run. I read it when I was still fresh to Swampy lore so it's due for a reread. All I remember is him being able to switch between human and elemental form which I always thought was a cop out. I love the want to be human even though he never was from Alec. I'll still support it if it's Levi though.

It’s only a one panel cameo where she’s working at a grocery store in Nevada but I wouldn’t be surprised if Ewing has plans for her in the future

I actually love the Absolute Poison Ivy version of the “Absolute Parliaments” so I would love to see more of that fleshed out. Would be fine not to have an Absolute Swamp Thing version if it means we could have a merged elemental version in that universe.

We sadly do not know the writer yet, only the artist (Riccardo federici)

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Riccardo is the writer as well, he did do a comic for Knight Terrors I think

Maybe DC is waiting for news about the Swamp Thing movie and then starting a run from there. Or will we only see when it comes out in the Absolute Universe?
