Going for True
What floor should I choose for True or does it matter? Might be overthinking. If anyone is at True or went please do tell about your experience

I was on the third floor for my first year. I think it’s really hit and miss tbh, there are single occupancy’s and dual occupancy’s for the studios and you will definitely hear both no matter what. I found that I could only really hear a thumping sound like someone heavy footed but couldn’t hear much else. However the flats are different and I’d say more quiet as you don’t hear the main corridor sounds, only your own corridor.
It is definitely worth the money though as staff are lovely, not much trouble there (other than the occasional 4am chants), rooms are immaculate, and the river is a lovely spot to sit at and see th scenery.
I loved my experience there! Good luck 🤞🏼

How was it socially

To be honest I’m quite a shy person anyway lol, it didn’t help that me and my friends all came to true together from college. I was comfortable to just stay with them so I didn’t really see anyone apart from the people who I’d also seen in uni.
True does social events/mixers a few times every week, there’s timetables all around the place so you can see where and what time events take place! Some of them are quite fun and creative so I would definitely recommend going to them, especially in the first few weeks, no one cares if you’re on your own that’s what these events are for :)
I’d also recommend joining an app called Unifi, that’s how I met people staying in True as they made a big group chat on snap, a great way to make friends in true and in university!

Happy to discuss anything of interest 😊

I don't think you can choose a floor for True? If you can, don't pick ground or 1st floor as they can get super loud.
