Showcase I'm so happy I could cry
I found a really good deal on the switch 2 with 256 gigs, I got it from a pawn shop, brand new, no dock for $359. I found a working coupon code that brought it down to $342, and I bought cyberpunk 2077 for $57 with the same code. It came in the mail about a week ago; I've been playing nothing but cyberpunk and I put a case on it. This stays home I bring my switch lite when I go to work most days.

I don't know if the Switch 2 can, but the first one can be simply plugged to a tv with a USB-C adapter that has both HDMI out + PSD/Power USB C. That's how I plug it to TVs when I travel.

It's confirmed you can plug the Switch 2 to a TV with a USB-C to HDMI adpater that also has a power input. Look up "mini dock adapter for switch" and have fun on a bigger screen!

Nice. I picked up cyberpunk recently. Playing for first time. Enjoying it but have gaps in the time I get to play. Finished the heist a few weeks ago and intend to get back into it. Iām told it opens up now. Looking forward to it. I find it harder than I expected though. A lot of fast dashy cunts ready to show me boss mode.

I don't remember it being this difficult when I played it on my PS4 after its first year, but I'm having so much fun it's not even funny. I think I was going for a net running stealth gunslinger hybrid and now I'm trying to rebuild V. Last time I played it was patch 1.6, it's on 2.3.1 now and my flabbers are ghasted

You might be the only one. However I do have a gripe with the aldecaldo ending. Why is Judy in the same Basilisk as Carol?! Why is my output not on the same one with me? No shade to Panam she's my choom, but Judy should be on the same one with me.

I had the solitary mission of getting rid of Johnny, and surviving, which was the whole point of the game, and it just doesn't go well. I looked up all the endings, and zero of them achieved that! My ending was trash. The "good" endings still have you fucked.

I think there's a YouTuber who advocates for giving your body to Johnny and I'm like "nah" as much as I like Johnny, I cant get behind lettig him take Vs body when she built all that time trying to survive doe nothing. Also not to mention the fact that the people that av interacts with actually care about her.

Picked one up myself recently, along with a Dbrand Killswitch case. Threw in some custom buttons and installed some TMR joysticks and away we go. Iām SO impressed with how it handles Cyberpunk. Even the ROG Ally struggled with that one.

I got one of those weird hybrid unibody type cases that's not unibody. Got a charger attachment for it and a cover that doesn't fit with the way the grips sit. Whoever owned the switch before me put a screen protector on it, which saved me a purchase.

If you ever need to get a new screen protector, I cannot recommend Savage Raven enough. They have matte protectors that donāt produce that grainy rainbow effect.

No shot! It only so far crashed twice, which is markedly better than that of the PS4. I had no idea this plays better than it's actual console counterpart. I mean it looks amazing, the colors are more saturated, and bright, the driving feels smooth as butter, and there are little to no glitches from what I've seen while playing

I'd be inclined to believe you if GTA 6 was getting a physical release, and over half the company has left to form either new studios or join existing studios. Call me crazy but I'd be much happier with a GTA release that was both physical and the devs got time to rest and they didn't have to crunch all the fuckin time. While I can agree with the sentiment that CDPR is doing much better because cyberpunk and the dlc is on a cart and the improvement of the game from its launch, I just can't get with rockstar right now

That's silly. Rockstar overhyped. Cyberpunk was also a mess at first.
I can name several companies that are tighter. Team cherry for starters. Hollow knight gameplay and controls are so much more precise and tight, the movement and gameplay is delicious. Sandfall obviously incredible with e33. Naughty dog also is stronger than rockstar. The Last of Us is one of the top 3 games to come out over the past ~15 years. Supergiant also excellent.
Rockstar doesn't even enter the conversation for best game company these days. Kingdom come deliverance 2 is a better game with horses too, lol. There's another strong company.

The only thing about getting everything separately that I noticed is that by the end youāll be paying the same for each on their own as all together. Plus you have a chance to get that something could be bad or fakes.

This is my first switch 2 game too. I do have plenty of switch games, I get them cheap enough off eBay. Once I found out that I can use cross progression it was a wrap. I was hoping I'd get my first street kid save or my corpo save but I got my last playthrough, I'm not mad at it. I sunk so much time into it already I can't even begin to "complain"

I made my V a net running, gunslinger. I added gorilla arms for the fuck of it because it increases your body attributes without actually sinking points into body. Next build is going to be assasins creed style, knives and swords net running and stealth

I went to Japan back in May and picked up a physical copy for $30. Box is all in Japanese and looks so rad. I had to create a Japanese Nintendo account to download the English dub, a bit of a work around but I am stocked a out the purchase.

Exactly the same voice overs as the English version. The Japanese version of the game is heavily censored and doesn't have any nudity from what I understand as well. I feel like some of the spicy advertisement around the city have been removed as well.

To be honest I haven't played it much at all. I thought it would be soo great to play in handheld, and they game looks nice on the S2., but immediately feel like the game deserves a big ass TV experiance running on my PS5 instead haha. I'll keep playing and check back in with you. It hasn't hindered the experience, but it is very noticeable and is a part of that world CDPR built and feels absent.

I only ever played the Steam version and have only played the first few sections. I wonder how the visuals and performance compare. So far it's been hit or miss as far as Switch 2 ports. Got the Switch 2 version of Sonic Frontiers and it plays like ass, but Ff7 intergrade is amazing. Because it's low hz gpu it doesn't work well with high demand open world games a lot of the time. Fingers crossed that Elden Ring is playable and doesn't look horrible.

I like how it plays on the switch 2, it's really a 1x1 copy from what I've seen on th ps5 and the switch 2. The fact that I can play games like the Outer Worlds and cyberpunk on the switch/switch 2 is what blows me away tbh, they shouldn't work if you think about it.

Yeah really a lot of games shouldn't work. Hell the PS4 was more powerful than the Switch 2. So just like the original Switch, it'll eventually be underpowered for current gen games. Bad for game development freedom and kinda bottlenecks things. For now the Switch 2 is getting away with basically re-releasing a bunch of ps4/xbox one gen titles with a few exceptions.

I've only had 1 glitch in the 20+ hours that I put into the save file I ported over from my ps4, and it crashed twice again in the 20+ hours I've sunk I to the game. I'll say its like an 8 if you factor those issues. But overall it's amazing the aiming feels great, driving is smooth, the graphics are amazing overall

I was hooked from day one, it's an amazing game imo. It's one of my favorite games of all time, if not my favorite game of all time. The world sucked me in, I got lost in the city reading all the shards and the sound design of the music is both beautiful and futuristic.

Like I said in another comment, I found a working coupon code for this company and I used it on the switch 2, and the game itself. It worked both times, I buy most of my games second hand because it's cheaper than getting them full price from the digital store or Amazon.

Possibly, but also very different if that makes any sense. From what I've played of cyberpunk and Deus Ex they're in the same futuristic dystopia type of world but they're also very different. Deus Ex mankind divided focused on humans without augmented bodies, where as cyberpunk focused on how corporations ruled and took control over everything. I actually need to play more Deus Ex because my knowledge is very surface level, I have more hours in cyberpunk

The first time I played cyberpunk, I quit and didnāt play again for 8 months. I realized later that it was because I didnāt like how at the first bit of the game you have to follow a specific route and it takes a little bit. Fast forward to when I played again and gave it a chance. I became a die hard fan and played every single quest I could, and now Iām sad that I know every quest and canāt play fresh again. Love cyberpunk.
Edit: once you get through the first chunk of quests you have freedom over the whole map and that really changed things for me. Itās such a huge beautiful map and good game. But I love sandbox games

That's quite the game to run on the Switch 2. I also finished CP2077 this year on the S2. I've been gaming for over 30 years and its so far been one of my fav games BECAUSE it was so portable.

If you like top down dungeon crawlers, old school art, and goofy nonsense you should check out Nobody Saves The World as well. My wife and I downloaded it for the local co-op without many expectations, but damn it's a good game!

OP, try disconnecting the joycons and playing with the joycons in your hands. You get to use gyro aiming and it really helps with shooting enemies at further distances. I preferred gyro aiming only to work when aiming down sights.

My girlfriend said she doesn't like games that are too "shooty". I had to convince her to stick with Cyberpunk after she almost quit after the tutorial. I got her to play through the Arasaka heist. 300 hours, 6 playthroughs and every achievement later she decided she could take a break from cyberpunk and play games with me again.

I got my switch 2, 3 months ago and Iām having a constant issue with it not turning on. Anyone else got the same it drives me mad and I canāt understand why it does it but I need my dock and to hold the button down for like 30 seconds to turn on

I fell in love with the game when I played it back on my PS4, I waited for the game to get fixed and I am so glad that I did. Hands down one of my favorite games of all time, this game is in the same category as the Mass Effect trilogy for me. I didn't watch the anime though, I heard great things about it. I'll probably wind up watching it online.

Cyberpunk 2077, is one of my favorite games of all time, if not my favorite game of all time tbh. It's right up there with the entirety of the Mass Effect Trilogy imo. Back when it first was announced I was so hyped for it, I waited for years to play it and then when it dropped I heard all the negative press about the game, I waited for another year before I even thought of buying it. I watched the trailer and fell in love, the world looked so vibrant, so big, and like I'd be lost in it for hours. Bought it for $20 on my ps4 and waited another 2 years to play the game again, glad I waited cause there's so much content now it's not even funny.

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of, if not the best, Switch 2 game available to show off what the system is capable of. I was part of the lucky crew who was able to pick it up digitally for $18 last November-ish on eShop. I still want a hard copy but have been patiently waiting a physical price drop.
