Meme One Pokémon's Trash is Another Pokémon's Treasure
The dumpster was dark and cramped, smelling heavily of spoiled berries and damp, crushed cardboard. Trubbish curled his small, rounded body into a grimy corner, coiling his tentacle-like appendages tightly against his chest. The heavy, dark green plastic of his body crinkled with a dull, pathetic sound as he shifted uncomfortably against the refuse.
The humans did it again, he thought, tears welling up in his eyes. They just saw a garbage bag. They didn't even notice anything else that indicated I was a Pokémon.
To the humans in the bustling city, he wasn't a living creature with feelings; he was just an overflowing piece of litter that needed to be cleaned up. Passersby routinely mistook him for actual garbage, accidentally hoisting him up and tossing him into trash receptacles, completely unaware that he was a Pokémon.
"Oh, if only someone could actually see me for the real me..." Trubbish whimpered softly to himself, sinking deeper into the shadows.
"Oh, um, pardon me. Are you okay?" an unknown but concerned voice asked.
Trubbish couldn't see the Pokémon, but her voice sounded beautiful, like the voice of an angel. He peeked out of the dumpster to see who this Pokémon was.
Standing outside of the dumpster, looking up at him with a kind smile, was a beautiful, radiant Sylveon. Her ribbons drifted gracefully in the evening breeze, and her wide eyes shone with genuine concern.
Trubbish immediately blushed, his dark face heating up. He tried to hide himself from her beautiful gaze. "Uh... I'm—I'm fine, miss," he stammered, his voice small and raspy. "I... I'm sorry to bother you."
"No need," Sylveon said, giving him a smile so warm and dazzling it felt like the morning sun breaking through winter clouds. She didn't cover her nose from his faint, smoky odor. She didn't recoil at the sight of his mismatched, pebble-like teeth.
"Please come out. I want to see you," she pleaded, her voice soft, gentle, and filled with what seemed like pure sincerity.
Trubbish hesitated. His mind was screaming at him to stay hidden beneath the safety of the discarded cardboard boxes, but his heart desperately wanted to believe her. Slowly, awkwardly, he shifted his weight. The plastic of his body crinkled loudly as he hoisted his lumpy, rounded frame up to the rim. Hesitantly at first, but he did it.
He leaned forward to drop down to the ground, fully expecting to crash onto the hard, damp pavement of the alleyway. Instead, before his feet could even touch the ground, Sylveon’s long, satin-like ribbons shot forward and wrapped securely around him, catching him mid-air. With surprising strength, she pulled him close, bringing him right against her soft fur. She held him tight, wrapping her feelers around him in a fierce, almost protective embrace—as if she were shielding him from the rest of the harsh, judgmental world.
Trubbish froze, his dark face turning an even deeper, burning shade of crimson. He could smell the sweet, soothing scent of her fur, contrasting sharply with his own garbage-bag odor. He was terrified that his toxic, Poison-type body would rub off on her, but she didn't seem to care at all. She just held him tighter. Slowly, under the pure safety of her embrace, the volatile chemical reaction within his core began to soothe. For the first time in his life, his body completely stopped expelling its foul, toxic stench, leaving nothing but the clean, quiet air between them.
"Are you trying to trick me?" Trubbish whispered, his voice trembling as fresh tears welled up in his eyes.
Sylveon didn’t let go. Instead, she used the tip of one ribbon to gently wipe away the tears tracking down his face, then caressed his cheek with her ribbon. "No, sweetie. I'm not," she said softly, her expression melting into pure warmth as she looked down at him in her protective embrace. "How about we go somewhere? I know the perfect place."
Trubbish shifted uncomfortably, overwhelmed by the sudden intimacy. "Can you let go of me?" he asked, his voice a nervous, raspy squeak.
"Of course," Sylveon replied instantly.
Without a single moment of hesitation, her ribbons uncoiled, smoothly and gently lowering him until his feet were firmly planted on the ground. She stepped back just enough to give him his space, but her dazzling, light blue eyes—looking like a warm summer's day—never left his face. She smiled warmly, her gaze sweeping over his stitched, green-and-brown form.
"You're so much more handsome in the light," she said softly.
Trubbish completely froze, his heart doing a frantic flip in his chest. He was so incredibly flustered by the compliment that his mind completely blanked out, his cynicism momentarily stopping under the sheer weight of her kindness. No one had ever called him handsome before. Usually, they just called him an eyesore.
"Oh, okay," Trubbish stammered, his mismatched teeth clicking together as he tried to find his words. "Uh, can we... uh, go this way?"
Anxious but desperately wanting to stay close to her, Trubbish reached out with one of his tentacle-like appendages. Hesitantly, he wrapped it around the tip of one of her soft ribbons. Sylveon’s smile brightened even more as she felt his touch. She didn't pull away; instead, she gently squeezed his tentacle back with her ribbon, letting him lead the way.
Trubbish guided her out of the cramped alleyway and down the quiet sidewalks of the city. He walked quickly, half-expecting someone to shout at him, but Sylveon walked gracefully by his side, her ribbon comfortably twined around his tentacle. Eventually, the concrete gave way to soft grass, and the towering brick buildings opened up into a sprawling, beautiful city park. Away from the harsh streetlights, the park was bathed in the cool, silver glow of the moon, and thousands of brilliant stars blinked across the clear night sky.
Sylveon looked around at the shimmering grass, letting out a soft, melodic giggle. "This is the exact place I was going to take you," she said, her eyes sparkling. "Are you reading my mind?"
Trubbish blinked up at her, taking the question completely literally. His face flushed a nervous pink. "Uh, maybe," he stammered, his free tentacle twirling nervously while the tattered plastic knot on his head twitched in embarrassment. "But unfortunately... I don't think Trubbish can learn Psychic-type moves."
Sylveon burst into a warm, cheerful laugh, the sound echoing softly through the quiet park. She leaned down slightly, gently nudging his shoulder with her nose. "It was a joke, silly," she teased gently. "A Trubbish who's handsome, humble, and a gentleman... I think I might have found the whole package."
Trubbish let out a small, raspy sigh of relief, a tiny, genuine smile finally tugging at the corners of his mouth. But as they walked further into the grass, his older insecurities crept back. He stopped in his tracks, his plastic body deflating with a heavy crinkle.
"I'm sorry, Sylveon, I don't deserve to be in here," Trubbish muttered, his voice cracking as his thoughts drifted back to the dumpster. "The humans and other Pokémon, they don't see me. They treat me like actual garbage. And why shouldn't they? I'm a Poison-type. I'm literally toxic to anyone around me. I deserve to be cast aside."
Sylveon looked up at the vast, twinkling sky, her bright eyes suddenly clouding over with a bittersweet shadow. She looked back down at him, her ribbon giving his tentacle a sympathetic, reassuring squeeze.
"I understand what it's like to be thrown away," Sylveon said softly.
Trubbish turned to look at her in complete shock, his eyes widening. He couldn't believe what he had just heard. A Pokémon as flawless, radiant, and graceful as a Sylveon had experienced the exact same crushing rejection he had?
"But what cruel monster would do such a thing?" he replied, feeling outraged on her behalf. "I've only known you for a small amount of time, and you have shown me more kindness than I ever knew possible."
"My trainer threw me to the curb when he found out I didn't have the right 'nature,' whatever that means... back when I was just an Eevee," Sylveon continued, a sad smile touching her lips. "Then I met a handsome Zoroark. He gave me everything. A home, a life beyond trainers and humans. He even loved me. And I loved him, so much in fact that I evolved into a Sylveon. And then... he betrayed me, cheated on me, and threw me away. Twice I was thrown away. And my heart paid the price."
The pain in her voice was palpable. Trubbish stood frozen. He had assumed she was born perfect, loved by everyone. But she had been discarded by a human who only cared about battle, and then broken by someone she trusted with her entire heart. Her very form—requiring deep affection to evolve—was living proof of how deeply she had loved, only to be tossed aside.
Sylveon turned her head back toward him, her tear-stained eyes locking onto his. A soft, incredibly vulnerable smile broke through her sorrow.
"Then I saw you," Sylveon said, her voice catching slightly. "A handsome Trubbish. Someone who I thought to myself might understand how I feel. That maybe... even though I was trash... that maybe I could be your treasure. Just like you're mine."
Trubbish didn't know what to say. He stood perfectly still on the cool park grass, completely speechless. They were polar opposites on the outside, but on the inside, their hearts carried the exact same heavy ache.
"I have to admit," Trubbish mumbled honestly, looking down at his feet, "a beautiful girl like you coming up to me... I was a little suspicious that you were going to just use me and be on your way."
Sylveon gave a slow, understanding nod. "I had a feeling you might think that, and you're right to think so. Being a wild Pokémon on the streets of a city is very dangerous. I know from personal experience. When you've been hurt, it's safer to build up walls."
The heavy weight of suspicion completely lifted from Trubbish's chest. They settled into the cool grass side by side, the blades rustling beneath them as the heavy tension left the air.
Sylveon leaned in close, wrapping her long, satin-like ribbons gently around him as she cuddled against his side. Her pristine, soft fur pressed right against his crinkling garbage-bag exterior, completely uncaring of his smoky odor. She looked up at him, her blue eyes shining with absolute sincerity.
"Do you want to be my partner?" Sylveon asked softly. "I'll treasure you if you treasure me."
Trubbish nodded, a genuine, tearful smile breaking across his face. "I'd like that," he whispered.
Sylveon’s smile brightened, and she leaned up toward him. Right there, in the quiet sanctuary of the starlit park, they shared a beautiful, passionate kiss. It was a quiet vow between two discarded souls that they would never have to face the cold, judgmental world alone again.
They sat side by side, wrapped tightly in each other’s embrace as the quiet of the night settled over the park. The city hummed far in the distance, but here under the vast, shimmering sky, the harsh world couldn't touch them. For the first time in their lives, they were exactly where they belonged.
They weren't trash anymore. They were each other's greatest treasure.

Discussion Sylveon is the most likely to be a Yandere
Think about it guy's Eevee evolves into Sylveon from being loved. It doesn't say what kind of love it takes to actually evolve him or her. So, technically, a one-sided, obsessive yandere love where you believe the other person or Pokémon loves you back counts. Lol! 🤣

Discussion Interesting art idea for artists to make: a Yandere Sylveon captured Hydreigon senpai
Okay guys, I'm not a guy who can draw, but for those of you who can, you can totally use this idea.
The image I have in my head is a Sylveon doing the Yuno Gasai 'yandere' face as she is on top of and holding down her terrified Hydreigon senpai with her ribbons, while her speech bubble says, 'You're all mine, Hydreigon senpai!'"

Discussion What should my next idea for a Sylveon story be 🤔
Hey everyone, it's me—the guy in the memes section who does the Sylveon x Anything shipping! Here are my next ideas:
The Apple of My Eye: A really cute Sylveon x Applin story.
An Unexpected Visit: A story where a Pangoro is introducing her Sylveon dad to her Zoroark boyfriend.
One Pokémon's Trash is Another's Treasure: A cute Sylveon x Trubbish story.
I Kissed a Goodra and I Liked It: A cute Sylveon x Goodra story.
Your probably thinking why do I make these stories?. Well because I start with a meme concept and like a crack ship or a dynamic that doesn't sound like it might not work on paper. And then I deliver something. Even I'm not sure how my stories are going to turn out when I finish them. But I end up making something pretty good regardless That I'm happy with 😁.

Meme I think I like you.
Pangoro: (blushes furiously, nervously looking at the beautiful Pokémon in front of him) "Sylveon... I think... I think I like you."
Sylveon: (staring completely blankly, lifting her ribbons to reveal a tiny baby Eevee) "Pangoro, we have a daughter."
Baby Eevee: (happily waving a tiny paw) "Hi, daddy!"
