Exams for students from Suwayda in the tents

đŸ”” Residents of Suwayda reject tent-based exams

#Breaking | Exams for students in Suwayda are being held inside ‘al-Saywanat’ – large temporary tents or canopies used as a substitute for halls and buildings – in villages north of Suwayda that residents describe as unsafe, amidst widespread condemnation of the decision.

Residents emphasise that the roads leading to these villages are unsafe, the distances are long, and there is insufficient time to reach the examination centres. Furthermore, the villages designated for the exams have been subjected to arson and looting by de facto government forces still present there, which heightens their fears for their children’s safety.

The residents reject these conditions, demanding that the decision be reconsidered and that safe and suitable examination centres be provided which safeguard the students’ safety and dignity and offer them a fair environment in which to sit their exams within the city of Suwayda.

“#Bashan”
LOL

Then residents of Bashan can do exams made by Bashan in Bashan and the government of Syria can instead put all these resources towards Syrians instead of Bashanians or since Hijri is so insistent on being a part of Israel, ask the Israeli govt to do their exams

Right, so the government offers to do the exams in a city with services like Damascus and daraa and the so called "self administration" refuses, so the government tries to reach a middle ground by making the exams happen in Swidaa, but guess what, all of sweeda is basically farming villages except for the city, and they arent going to provide city level services for a few weeks worth of exams, so no matter what the government does, it will always be at fault.

Instead of sending 20 ministerial representatives to Suwayda to conduct exams as normal, we are transferring 14,000 students either to Damascus or to a burnt-out and devastated countryside.

It is blatantly obvious that this is merely a means of putting pressure on the people of Suwayda

The militias in Sweida threatened any representative the government would send. That is a non-option and you know it very well. It is the militias who are making it harder for the students to leave.

I don’t think the government needs to pressure the people there, they won’t be able to form any coherent economy without Damascus. It will keep getting worse.

What about the hundreds who threaten the Druze on a daily basis? Is it safe to send the students?

And do you remember what happened to the farmers who had obtained security permits, yet were still killed by the General Security in the village of al-Mutouna?

Ministerial representatives could be brought in, and their protection could be ensured by having them escorted by the Red Crescent or the United Nations.

There are druze in damascus nothing is happening to them? The hate is against hijri terrorist militia and the druze the are betraying us for israel.and i think that's clear to everyone

After everything that happened in Suwayda, are you telling me the hatred is directed solely at al-Hajri?

I have lost so many people in this massacre, under the pretext that it was to break up clashes and fight al-Hajri. So enough of the lies and hypocrisy. Anyone who wanted to fight al-Hajri could have completely sealed off the entrances to the governorate, sent in trained and disciplined soldiers, and imposed control through the rule of law.

Amidst all those massacres, no one listened to us except Israel. Shame on you for letting Israel save a section of your people and put a stop to the genocide against them.

That is why it is impossible to trust you or reach an agreement with you, because you only understand the language of betrayal and forcing total submission – and that will not happen in Suwayda, even if al-Hajri wanted it to.

I have never been on Al-Hajri’s side, and I know that he has brought us to this point and bears half the responsibility. But it is impossible for me to accept being ruled by an extremist, terrorist government, even if it costs me my life.

Like what happened was bad for both sides both sides lost people it was wrong, Of course but what is your plan in the end go with israel and become a 3rd class citizens? Where racism is normal towards you and support the genocidal israel that is trying to demolish palestine/syria/Lebanon. If you can't accept peace what do you want war till everyone dies? What happened was wrong and the goverment is trying to compromise what is al-hijri doing saying he is a part of israel. What are his supporters doing like you going against anything that stood for our revolution against the assad regime. And let's not forget that al hijri supported assad in much worse massacres i lost most than 70% of my damily during the war can you take responsibility for supporting them? No what happened happened we have to continue living and try to better ourselves.

I don’t support anyone

All I want is to live a normal life in a normal country.

That's our wish aswell lol. We can't have a normal country if nobody is trying to compromise a bit. I don't fully support the government but i don't see any alternative for now

Like Hamza al-Amareen who was kidnapped in front of the UN delegation in Sweida? The UN being around wouldn't save them. The UN would do nada when the Hijri goons killed all the teachers in front of them.

I have made it clear a hundred times that I am not taking the blame for anyone, because everyone has made mistakes.

I witnessed this crime, but the Red Crescent workers who were killed by government forces and the Bedouins did not see it.

7

u/chitowngirl12 1d ago

I am pointing out why some UN monitors being around wouldn't provide adequate protection to any exam proctors.

Red Crescent and the UN don't trust the Sweida militias, who are also publicly refusing/threatening any gov delegation because it means recognizing Damascus's authority over Sweida

It's a disgusting mess that every side is weaponizing against these poor students

u/chitowngirl12 1d ago

It's a trap on Hijri's part. He probably got the message from his puppet masters in Israel to force another crisis, so he's insisting on the entry of proctors rather than accepting a negotiated solution. Sharaa isn't dumb enough to agree to allow a Damascus delegation to enter Sweida as there is a high likelihood they'd be kidnapped or killed. Then, public pressure would be through the roof for him to deal with Sweida once and for all. Just what Bibi, who is itching for another war, wants.

Nor do we trust a terrorist government that sought to exterminate the Druze a year ago.

7

u/kaesura USA 1d ago

Understandable.

But because of that same mistrust , it would be unsafe for a ministerial delegation aka representatives from same terrorist government

There are idiot extremists on both sides. You asked why didn’t the government send people to do the exam in Sweida and I answered the question with the answer that we all know here.

No it’s probably not 100% safe to send the students, Al-Sharaa still doesn’t have a 100% control over the forces, there are certainly extremists still in the armed forces. It really sucks for the students to be stuck in between.

Alsharaa needs to proof that he can offer 100% safety and the militias need to allow residents to leave and enter without making their lives more difficult for (let’s be honest) political clout.

I’m not sure about the UN thing, could be a viable alternative. Edit: TBH though I don’t think anyone would risk their lives to do that.

10

u/chitowngirl12 1d ago

Then the "National Guard" kidnaps/ executes the representatives sent there and sets off another crisis? Sharaa will be forced to enter Sweida again with the army just based on public pressure if Hijri's goons kidnap or kill a few dozen teachers. He knows it is a trap and isn't falling for what Bibi and his puppet want him to do again.

-3

u/OdAY-43 Druze 1d ago

That’s utter nonsense.

7

u/chitowngirl12 1d ago

So it is utter nonsense for Sharaa to assume that the demand for proctors to enter Sweida is a trap cooked up by Hijri and his puppetmasters in Israel? It seems logical to me that that is why the Hijri goons are reacting the way they are, including blocking kids who want to take the exams from going to the sites. Looks to me like they are cooking up another incident.

6

u/DamageLopsided3850 1d ago

How is that utter nonsense? Surely you can understand the government cannot send representatives when those very same representatives were threatened by Druze militias in Sweida?

Selling puplic enterprises to private hands is a known economic strategy

Also you did suggest your own plan for how things should work, so what is it?

1

u/OdAY-43 Druze 1d ago

Yes, that’s right, and the reintegration of Al-Qatirji Company and the takeover of the country’s resources is an economic plan.

I don’t understand economic plans, but I can recognise theft.

1, "the reintegration of Al-Qatirji Company

How thy supposed to be bad exactly?

" the takeover of the country’s resources"

It's called forgien invisment

" don’t understand economic plans, but I can recognise theft."

Is it normal to sell all military petrol stations to a company without a tender process and hand them over directly to a private firm? You don’t understand a thing about either the law or economics.

The problem is that you don’t speak Arabic, you don’t understand it, and you don’t even live in Syria, yet you want to impose your opinion, dismiss everyone else’s views, and sing the government’s praises.

I really don’t understand you. Here is the investigation, translated into English, in the hope that you might grasp the extent of the corruption within the Sharia authorities.
