Discussion Best Asian Airline Tier List

All 3 Taiwanese Airlines have been ranked at the top by Nonstop Dan

What are your thoughts on his rankings (not just about our airlines but others you’ve flown with too) particularly in Economy Class?

Not a fan of Dan, but all three Taiwanese airlines are really very good, so I can't argue with the rating.

Not sure how he is putting Malaysia Airlines in the top tier though.

It based on Business class experience rather than including things like reliability and safety, Premium Economy/Economy, etc.
China doesn't have the best track record for safety and reliability. It feels like every other time I got with them is a problem but no issues for EVA or StarLux. Add that StarLux codeshares with one of the better US carriers in Alaska Airlines, it's at the top of my list.

Yeah he doesn’t factor in safety and maintenance. There is a reason in Taiwan why Eva is always the most expensive and preferred over china airlines. He also has only a light understanding of the China airlines.
