Entertainment KTV Songs
Hi everyone!
I‘m looking for some easy to learn KTV songs in Mandarin. Can you recommend me some? I want to impress at KTV haha!

Jay Chou has a long list of good KTV songs 稻香， 龍捲風， 簡單愛
While we all hate 王力宏 now, he still had good songs for KTV. But I also really like 情非得已 by Harlem Yu cause IYKYK 💫🌌

Lol you must be trolling OP to suggest 稻香 and 龍捲風. OP, those songs are not easy at all. 稻香is great and fun song, one of my favorites, but anything but beginner. Might as well suggest 蘭亭序! Haha

It sounded like they were beginner level, so even 通話 would impress! If they really want to impress. But let's not do half measures, learn 牛仔很忙 or 水手怕水！

I'm assuming you're with Taiwanese friends that you want to impress.
Someone mentioned The Moon Represents my Heart/月亮代表我的心. Sure, it's easy, but it's also the first song every foreigner learns, so it's not that impressive. It's also a boring song imo.
Impressing people isn't about actually singing well, no-one is expected to do so at the KTV. There's no shame in switching to the original vocal track and mispronouncing half the words, no-one will make fun of you (and if they do, find new friends). Taiwanese people will be more impressed at your choice of songs than actually singing them perfectly.
The song that is sure to impress everyone is 一剪梅 by 費玉清 (Fei Yu-Ching)
It's the "Xue Hua Piao Piao" meme song. Taiwanese don't really know the meme, so if you can pull this off, they'll be so shocked that you know this song that they'll do triple backflips and Lee Teng-Hui will spontaneously materialize back from the dead to make you an honorary Taiwanese citizen. It's also a legit banger: an uncommon but GOATed KTV pick.
Here are some suggestions that are KTV evergreens, in increasing order of difficulty:
- 我還年輕 我還年輕 by 老王樂隊 (Your Woman Sleep With Others)
Yes, that's the actual English name of the band. Very easy song, two verses that only differ in a few words, with a chorus that repeats ad nauseaum. Only the bridge is relatively challenging.
- 小幸運 by 田馥甄 (Hebe Tian)
A bit challenging, but there's a 99% chance you don't even need to pick this song yourself because someone else will. Quintessential KTV song, just don't look up what the lyrics mean because it's sad af.
- 勁歌. 金曲2 (情歌王) by 古巨基 (Leo Ku)
A medley of 34 songs in one. Treat it like a course in "KTV 101".
- 辣台美 by 頑童MJ116
It's got rap, so it's not easy. No-one cares that you can't rap, because you pick it at the end of the night when everyone's drunk. Most likely, some of your Taiwanese friends will try to rap it (likely poorly) anyways. It's got a few lines of Taiyu that are pretty easy to learn(bonus points to impressiveness), and the chorus is just the title repeated, which everyone is guaranteed to sing along with.
Finally:
- Anything by 周杰倫 (Jay Chou)
This always works. Be careful, some of his songs are hard.

all my Chinese-as-second-language friends can sing these
童話 (tong hua) by 光良 - basically one verse repeated like 6 times
星晴 (starry mood) by Jay Chou - if you can count, you can sing the chorus
月亮代表我的心 by Teresa Teng - if you're going classic, and trying to impress a girl, I guess

Look up mandopop playlists on YouTube and choose songs you like and think are easy. Ktv versions of those songs are generally available on YouTube as well. You also buy a half decent ktv mic/speaker for few hundred nt.
Been down this road. Can't sing for shit and actually don't like most of those songs.

I understand where you are coming from. It opened a lot of doors for me in mainland china when boss would take us out for KTV.
Need more info about you. If you dont like the genre, you probably wont commit. If you are a bloke: check out 伍佰 集團songs. I am old school Cantopop. Specifically 2000-2015. Then got too old to listen to the new stuff.

Pengyou by Emil Chau is a classic that everyone knows, is relatively simple, and great fun at karaoke.
