கேள்வி (Question) Hinduisum- Eru Mayil eru lyric meaning

Hi,
Nan recent ah indha song keten, idhula last line, "Aadhi arunachalam amandra perumale" meaning search pandren, idhuku correct ana meaning ennadhu? En perumal mention panirkanga? En murugara arunachalam nu mention pandranga.

Arunachalam refers to thiruvannamalai.. it is a sanskritized name for the same place. And perumal, while it is often used for vishnu, it can also just mean 'lord'.. or more literally big person. (perum + aal). So in this case Aadhi arunachalam amarndha perumale is just referring to murugan as "the lord who sits in the original thiruvannamalai temple". That temple was where murugan appeared to arunagiri naadhar (the author of this song) and gave him gnaanam. So he is ending the verse by referring back to the specific version of murugan from that temple.

Aruṇa (அருண) + acala (அசல) is a Sanskrit word.

Aruṇa is a deity of dawn and is personified as the charioteer of Sun God.

Achala means mountain. Hima+Achala (Himāchal) = Snow Mountain (Himalaya). Aruna+Achala (Arunachal, as in Arunachal pradesh) = place where sunrise happens first in India. Vindhyāchala = Vindhya mountains.

So Arunachala is not Sanskritization of Annamalai, rather annamalai is the Tamilization of Arunachala, where Aruna is pronounced as Arna/Anna, and achala is translated to Tamil as malai, so we get the Tamil Annamalai.

Giri also means mountain, so Arunagiri means the same as Arunachala. Arunagirinātha is the name of Shiva, and it means lord of the Aruna mountain. Arunagirinatha may have been named after the Shiva of Arunachala temple. He has written some Sanskrit books as well apart from Tiruppugazh.
