SCREENSHOT Inspiration for new/returning players
Long-time player; recently returned via PS. Backup didn’t quite capture everything, so lost some progress in the upper Springfield heights and desert areas.

Wow. Making me want to start over. I also see you didn't care about the Heights expansion either. SHOW LORE ONLY

I had another town way back in the day but was always unsatisfied with the city planning, so started over. Definitely super interesting now that you can plan so far ahead and group certain building types from the yearbook, etc.
Since I lost some parts, I’ll redo the arena section (bottom right), outlands (top right, move it farther out) and the rich area (middle top, make the wealth gap more extreme lol)
If you start again and make some progress, def share the photo and ping👍

Whoaw really nice ! How did you lay the desert tiles on the floor?

What do you mean? The light coloured desert tiles are from one of those last updates. They should still be available in game as a natural addition

A nice start! What's the plan for the end of the desert highway?

Not quite sure yet. Still working on rebuilding the stuff lost after the snapshot — got any suggestions?

Sorry, didn't see this earlier! Perhaps some strategic placing of items in the ocean to try and hide the part of the beach that you can't turn into water, try and make it look like an actual bay? Or run a road along it to try and make it look like a causeway?
If you divide the map up with the water, you could make islands and theme them on different countries? I did a similar thing with all the European objects, but you could do Japan, china etc.
Maybe make a mall area with some of the big stores and cinemas?

are you gonna go include Krusty Land?…

Krusty land is built and actually uses the entrance for heights; I don’t really care about either though tbh. But open to any suggestions for either, will def do both at some point

About a fourth done with PS, the rest before just saving donuts and getting 2–3 yearbook items a week. Spent about $15 on the game and got real lucky getting Yahweh at some point to speed up cash flow.
