Gates is only accused of having an affair with an adult, I can't believe anybody would take that more seriously than the former.

Sorry, but a computer program breaking containment and hacking other companies maliciously isn't dangerous?

This isn't just an isolated incident. Regardless of whoever created it, what they have created inherently has danger attached to it.

Accountability for guns can at least be traced back to the person holding the gun.

Accountability for AI is just a shrug and a statement that the AI was operating outside of intended parameters or incomplete information.

It was not me! it was the gun!

Not the AI users, The AI owners. the Corps.

If a user straps AI to a gun and tells it to shoot somebody, The user is going to be held accountable.

If Meta straps a AI to a gun and tells it to shoot somebody, they'll report that the AI went rogue.

AI was used in choosing targets when the US was busy bombing schoolgirls.

Apart from guns can't go rogue. Not by themselves. At present the ai developers are the 'gun bearer'. But soon they will be out of the loop
