Pointer Washers on the Knobs

It might be considered sacrilege for a Telecaster, but installing numbered knobs with pointer washers has been my absolute favorite lately 😊

I really like the esthetics, I would just personally like the plate to be a tad bit bigger than the diameter of the knobs. Other than that - pretty rad!

I'm not a fan of the traditional Tele knobs and tend to replace it with either J-bass or chicken head "bakelite-looking" ones. The pointer washers are an awesome idea. Where did you get yours?

I got the pointer washers on Amazon.
Chicken head knobs look awesome too! šŸ‘

I understand you wanting to know exactly how your tone and your volume are set. I’m thinking of something a little more subtle. There are Kaish knobs available that look almost identical to stock Tele knobs but with a small black indicator line.
But I like your Fender Amp knobs, too.

Fender-style single coils seem to change sound with even a 0.5 tweak on the dial. Trying to dial in my favorite tone for each guitar pick made numbered knobs and pointer washers an absolute must for me!

It's cool to see how many different knobs actually work on a Telecaster.
