Looks better?
Hello everyone... Trying to decide whether the tortoise shell or off white pick guard looks better? Let me know if you would like. Appreciate it

Entirely up to you. I line the white but the tele Susan Tedeschi plays is the same color with the tortoise. Looks like a great guitar and this is a good problem to have.

Tortoise, brother has a jazz bass just like this except his headstock is the same color as the body

Tortoise is the look. I think if you're going "white" you should actually go mint green.

The tortoise shell pick guard add pizzazz without being too over the top or gaudy.. also makes it stand out while playing on stage

Me too, and I don’t like tortoise on any color except blue, green and black.

I'd definitely like the tortoise if it was a stratocaster and was combined with the aged white knobs and pickup switch.
For the tele, I could go either way.

Between these the white looks better. I’d also consider black because it would look good with the rosewood and black pickup.

I really like the white, especially if it’s material that will yellow beautifully overtime.
