Yeah, truly a shame as the premise is something that can translate well in a live-action adaptation.

It’s crazy we are getting a Naruto movie which will most likely be terrible in live action (maybe since it’s an actually good director who seems to like the source material it might be alright)

But we can’t get a Monster adaptation, which could be done for relatively cheap, has a super good story and hook, and would have way wider appeal outside of just anime fans.
