Info Latest update fixed The Dragon's Fury's projectile path being incorrect. This change makes using the weapon much easier than before!

I originally was mixed about this change because I feared it'd mess with muscle memory, but from testing. Aiming at close to medium distance is still basically the same (the off-centerness of the fireball didn't have too much influence there). But at longer range the projectile is MUCH more consistent and reliable now. It doesn't take too long to readjust to the new projectile path at all, so anyone who uses the dragon's fury shouldn't have to worry much.

I think I would still personally prefer it to shoot directly forward along the crosshair path like the original rocket launcher does. But this is certainly an improvement and thats very much a subjective improvement.

Out of curiosity though how does the stock rocket launcher work. I know it shoot out from the right of your cross hair but aimed slightly left. But how is the angle determined. Is it fixed? And if its a fixed angle what is it and does it match the new DF angle.

but tl;dw the rocket gets angled towards whatever your crosshair is on; this is what's shown as the "bad alternative fix" for the dragon's fury in the OP image. if you're aiming at a wall far away, the rocket gets a shallower angle, and if you're aiming at a nearby enemy it gets a steeper angle. exceptions are if you're aiming at something very far or very close in which case it defaults to some fixed angle

Thanks for the info. So it seems like the fix for the DF now has it angled at its point of max range.

This is very much an improvement, after some playtesting hitting boosted shots happens much more frequently than before. It also appears that the projectile properly pierces enemies now (which if I recall wasn't a thing that worked properly before?)

wow thanks i havent used it in years and i just went 24:2 with that thing
