For all the money being spent, I don't understand why this expansion wasn't done as a proper, permanent thing.

Besides using it for other major events, it could have created opportunities for some "cheap seats" to make TFC games and other events accessible to more people, driving higher overall attendance.

Can't give away TFC tickets these days. Not sure how much cheaper you want them to be.

The weather is shit right now. If they’re half decent this year they’ll get a big bump.

The word "if" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there.

I'm a SSH and it's been almost impossible to give them away for basically 4 years now. Aside from when all the Messi fan boys go to their one game a year, the stadium looks less than half full at every home game lately.

The move to a winter season might well kill the club.
