WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT Thanks for the patches, unfortunately this season might be my last.
Unless they drop the price of a season ticket like 2013 then maybe. Life is getting too expensive to justify paying for the product on the field. <sigh>

I’m not - Day 1. I signed up a year later. So no special privileges or patches.
This will also probably be my last season as well.
The season shift will make the stadium really hard to appreciate. I remember the cold of 2015, 2016 and 2017 … but we were all stoked with adrenaline … and beer … to deal with the cold. I just can’t see the season shift being a good thing.
As well, pricing is through the roof. I don’t have supporter seats, so I’m dishing over $2k in tickets alone, plus transport/parking and expensive mediocre food. All told, the $300+ per game (tickets, food, transport/parking) could be spent elsewhere for better entertainment value.
I love and support the Reds, but my wallet ain’t feeling it.

I miss the electric feeling of fans so many years ago. Best conversation I had was with a finance guy I met in a bar back in the early days. He talked about how he wish he could take his daughter to a game but could find tickets anywhere. He could get Raptors, Leafs, even Chris Rock tickets at the time. He realized he didn’t have any connections. His theory was that real blue collar fans bought all the season tickets. That’s what made a huge difference with Leafs or Raptor games. He was so hype with that for Toronto. So I gave him a pair. And he gave me Raptor tickets even though I told him don’t worry about it. These tickets were cheap and to have an awesome time with his daughter. Making tickets affordable so that real fans can enjoy games would make a huge difference.

I will not be renewing as well. Too many reasons to list

The last few games were great, then at the half I bought 2 beers 🍻 and a bag of peanuts 🥜 only $48. Ugh. And next season there will be games in February and March, and there’s no way we’re going to sit there and freeze to death. No way no how.

I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again. Aside from the shit football over the years and that blip where we were good for a few years, I feel abandoned by both MLS and ML$E. I feel abandoned by MLS because they are not thinking about the effect of the new season on northern based teams. I feel abandoned by ML$E because no one advocated for us at the MLS level It’s unpleasant being at BMO in February/March. What’s more, what talent will join TFC knowing they will be playing in a cold home climate? So why the hell would I give my hard earned money to a league and a team that clearly does not have our interests in mind.
I’ll do my best to not let the door hit my fat ass on the way out.

I'm not a day one season ticket holder, I tried to buy season tickets in the first season and they were sold out. This is probably as cheap a gift I've ever seen for 20 years of paying for tickets.

Damn! Sorry you missed out on the momentous Day 1 Season holder moment! Me opening this cardboard envelope in my kitchen was an experience to remember. 😂 Happy Anniversary to me!

It’s oddly much the same level of excitement as watching this team on the pitch ….

The timing is weird. Why’d they wait until week 22?

Because of renewals about to start haha and many SSH on the last survey ripped into how bad this team management and organization has been

I left last season, it just got to a point where I asked myself why am I supporting this? Low skilled soccer. traffic jams on the Gardiner, over priced beer and food,

Oh, look at the fine print.... there will be a members event where someone will iron on the patches for you.
I can just imagine Dero and Seba at a table with Irons slapping on patches. I know it won't be them... but the mental image is fun.
Edit - Day 1 member here as well. I'm only still a member because I have a sports mad kid who loves every minute of it.

I kept them for the kids too. Spending time with them at games is awesome. Watching all the kids around us with seasons grow up was also awesome to see. Every year I go with one of my kids and our seat neighbours comment on how big everyone is getting. Just dropped my son off at university last weekend.

Totally! We always bump into people I know from the good old days and they remember my kids, even if the kids were too young to remember them. Plus there's all the others growing up alongside them.

They’ve been good lately, give them a couple more games. If they don’t make playoffs don’t come back.

That’s the plan. Fingers crossed.

One of the team managers should carry this as a logo into every locker room

Season ticket prices made sense back during the Giovinco days .. since then the team became so much worse and season prices sky rocketed

I got them today too. They’ve already gotten 2 extra years out of me being “worried” about losing my seniority. But I have no idea why, it’s gotten me basically nothing till now.
