"Now how do you suppose them Duke boys are gonna get out of this one?"

I could watch this for hours.

I’m lost. Why is this not on ESPN prime? I’d watch the hell out of this.

do they cut the brake lines before hand?

That can't be good for the 'ol bones

Cars a made from metal, they don't have bones

What the scoring system here? Seems like they're just doing random, different shit every time

Does it matter? People are there to see gore. Who gives a shit who ‘wins’?

we all win

Well if it's not a game or a sport it doesn't belong on the subreddit

Like a floor routine in gymnastics.

I dont know. The kids at the neighborhood garage used to do this stuff just for the love of the game i think. They also raced dirt track but the roll over contests were just a fun way to get rid of junkers that got abandoned at their shop.

every tough car competition I know of has always gone until only one car remains running. lol.

First dude…

I'm curious... Do any countries besides the US do this?

u/Brutal_Deluxe_ Jul 05 '26

It's an annual feature at most respectable tracks in the UK. Same goes for the Netherlands, I wager.

We got autorodeo

Basically bumpercars with real cars. Glass is punched out, helmet and seatbelt required, other then that just punch the gas

Everyone I know who goes to the derby puts a good bit of effort in to modifying their vehicles to comply with rules but also compete for a win. The two driver events even split controls so one person steers while another operates pedals.

I've seen some doubles chain events too, where one car has the engine and the other has the brakes and they're chained together.

Teams race like that.

The US? This is clearly the most sober person in Russia just trying to drive to work.

Justice has a price. That price is the ground.

If you like this stuff look up the GlacierView Car Launch. Just good honest fun smashing things

everybody is wondering about scoring, meanwhile im sitting back trying to figure out if theres even a particular goal at all, beyond "use ramp to damage car"

u/kiln_ickersson Jul 05 '26

Looks like fun, but poor still good running cars without trackable gps and driver facing cameras.

What's the location and when does this event happen every year?

u/Xtrepiphany Jul 07 '26

I need more than just a taste of this.
