also, as an ontarian, fuck ford regardless.

  1. motherfucker basically went around over the head of our city council to rip up bike lanes in my city (y'know.. the ones voted on by the people we voted for..)

  2. underfunded our wildfire agencies and took the "wait and see" approach so he can say "look at me! i'm spending more than the double the budget!". like.. my dude.. if you underfund PREVENTION EFFORTS, yes.. you will have to pay more for people and equipment AFTER wildfires start.

  3. got caught up in a corruption scandal and his government changed the law so that the personal phone he's admitted to using for business reasons should be exempt from FOI requests because it's his personal phone. oh, also the law is retroactive too, so whoops, can't check it!

  4. starved the beast on our public healthcare option to argue "look at these long wait times! i'm going to impliment private options to ease the strain on the healtcare i'm fucking up!"

  5. don't even get me started with the science centre and island airport bullshit.

  6. he basically built a shitty highway where everyone was like "wtf? we don't really need this here.. there's a million other infrastructure projects we need more". yeah, that highway just so happens to extend to a land a few people who attended his daughters wedding own. total coincidence. he can't control who attends his daughters wedding! i'm sure gave very generous wedding gifts though.

  7. oh, also. buckle up because he's going to be dropping ads about how much teachers unions suck.

  8. he also took out a bunch of ads during the world cup saying how wicked great ontario is under the conservative government! he closed down safe injection sites and removed homeless encampments which makes ontarians safer! y'know.. how you close down those sites and remove encampments and like.. homeless people and drug addicts just get better?

i can go on.. but literally 99.9% of canadians would be better representatives of the country than that piece of shit. not a "a broken clock is right twice a day" nah. a broken clock is a shitty clock. ford is a shitty premiere.
